"So, this guild's name is Orca Fin?" I ask curiously as I hold up a nearly unconscious man. He murmurs something in a slur before the ground shakes beneath me. "All right--" I snap. "Guess I'll get my answer later!" I shout as I shunt him to the ground and take to the sky.
"There's a big swarm comin' in from the east!" Ballad called as she ran through the streets below. "I'll meet you there!"
I don't respond, my speed picks up as I dive towards the group of creatures rushing towards the city. "Ice Dragon Roar!" I bellow as I slam onto the ground. I give myself a pat on the back at the sheer size of the destruction I'd caused. A huge glacier wall stops them from coming any further.
"It won't hold for long!" Ballad squeaked as she managed to catch up with me. "We should take out the caster!"
I peer up curiously. "So this Orca Fin guild has a beast tamer? That should be fun." I mention, wings shoving me into the air. "Come on, we're wasting--"
"Watch out!" I hear a familiar voice squeal. I give a sharp shout as a boot connects with my face, sending me tumbling down the glacier and into the pit of monsters. I rub at my face irritably, sticking out my tongue as it throbs from the force of my accidental bite. I peer up at the three girls flying above the swarm of monsters.
"Wendy?" I chirp in confusion. Sure enough, small, adorable Wendy, is flying besides Shelia of Lamia Scale with a girl holding her up-- I can only presume it's Carla, due to Ballad's more recent grasp of her transformation magic. "Hey, wait up!" I call out as I start barging through the horde with ease, freezing the ground and creatures trying to attack me. "You can't just kick me in the face and fly off you jerks! Someone's gonna pay for the damage, you know!"
I hear Ballad squeal behind me before I hear a pained shout before she's in her cat form on my shoulder. "We've got a problem!" She cried in a clear panic. "Total problem, real damage control in our futures!"
"Keep it on the backburner!" I shout. I find the girls tearing it up and I can't help but feel a little proud of them. A familiar scent catches me off guard for a moment. The ground beneath the outcrop he's on is destroyed, sending the others to the ground below. I charge in, crashing my fist against Bluenote's face, sending him flying off of the outcrop. I hear shouts of astonishment as I leap after him.
"I remember you," Bluenote hums as he wipes at his bloodied lip. There's a shift in the gravity around me. I give a loud snort and swipe my shoulder as if there's something on it.
"D'you know how much the magic council is paying for your head?" I ask curiously as he charges. I grasp the fist angled at my face, tilting it upwards as my own head tilts to the side. "Enough to pay for three countries." I answer my own question. "So, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna break you and crack your skull against the ground for stepping foot on Tenrou Island to look for Fairy Tail's secret magic. Then I'm going to drag you by your stupid hair to collect my reward."
"You talk too--"
"So do you," I interrupt him, my foot idly swishing over the earth below. Ice encases him instantly, then it explodes, leaving him battered and bruised on the ground. I reach down and snatch the hair that escaped from his ponytail. "Hey!" I flinch visibly at the sound of his voice. "Fancy seein' you here!"
I turn my gaze upwards and narrow my eyes at Natsu waving his arms over his head, beaming brightly. Wendy, Shelia, and Carla are behind him all beaming. Ballad peeks out from my hair and grimaces. "Let's go." I hum to Ballad and start dragging Bluenote off.
