Chapter Four-Being Emotional Is My Thing

Stupid.I felt like I was the biggest stupid to ever exist in the history of werewolves! I was stupid for acting like a clingy bitch and I was also stupid for not enjoying myself like my friends used too.How could he do this to me? I saved myself for him! Here's the clinginess I was talking about.

But he didn't know that did he? My wolf said quietly.

Great now my only true friend was defending him.I sighed,what was wrong with me? Why was I such a baby? He had every right to do whatever he wanted with his life and I also had the same right,the difference was he chose to enjoy his life while I chose to…I don’t even know what I chose to do.

Now I had left him and I didn’t even have his number to call him and apologize.I didn’t even know where he lived! Stupid,stupid stupid,stupid stupid!

“Jessica?”Lilly rammed into me with a glass of vodka in her hand.

“Lilly how much did you drink?”I enquired worriedly,although alcohol did no damage to our system,I still had to worry about what would happen once her mom found her in this state.

“Just one glass…or two? I don’t remember”She giggled and hugged me tightly.

I sighed and took the glass from her hand.”Hey! What are you doing? I want to partyyyy”

“No Lilly,we’ve partied enough,its time to head home”I started to drag her out of the club.

“I don’t wanna go!”

“I really don’t care what you want to do right now Lilly”I was already annoyed with myself and I didn’t want to get more annoyed and do something I might regret later on.

“You’re not a good friend! Bad Jessica.Baddy pants!”

“Baddy pants? What the hell-”I pinched the bridge of my nose and started to drag her towards her car. I started the car and started to drive my way towards my house.

Lilly was seriously in no condition to be heading to her own home.Her mom would freak out then they would end up having an argument in the morning and the last thing I need is an angry Lilly first thing in the morning.

“I’m gonna sleep now” Lilly fell asleep during the ride and I was left to my own thoughts.

What had I done? He must think of me like a clingy bitch now,I didn’t even know how to apologize to him,I should have taken his number.

“Jessica why did you have to be so emotional?”I quietly mumbled to myself.

My house finally started to come in view and I let out a sigh of relief.Bed here I come!

I parked the car and took Lilly into my arms.I started to make my way inside and quietly made my way towards my room.Laying Lilly gently onto the bed,I removed her sandals and tied her hair into a loose pony,she hated waking up with her hair all over her face.

I made my way towards the bathroom and quickly changed from my dress to my pajamas.

I walked towards the window and opened it.A hand shot out and covered my mouth.My eyes widened and I started to relax as soon as I saw who it was.

“Kyle?! What are you doing here”I hissed as I quickly pulled him inside.

“I wanted to apologize”He whispered and pulled me into him.

“How did you know where I lived?”

“I have my ways.Listen Jess I’m really sorry,I shouldn’t have--”

“No! Its not your fault Kyle,I over-reacted”I smiled at him.No matter what I said,it still hurt that he had chose to fuck somebody else over me.

“You had every right to over-react Jessica”He looked down and entwined our hands.

“You had every right to enjoy your life”

“You could have done the same thing but you didn’t.You can’t hide your feelings from me Jessica,I can see right through you and I know you’re hurting right now”

His eyes shone with guilt and sadness and my heart clenched badly.

“I’ll get over it”I smiled at him and he gave me a small,sad smile in return.

“Why don’t we meet tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow? When and where?”

“Just come near the woods at 5”

“How will I find you?”

“Don’t worry,I’ll find you”He gave me a quick peck on the lips and jumped out of the window,vanishing into the night.

Goosebumps covered my entire body and I quickly rubbed at my arms trying to get some heat.Drawing the curtains,I got on the bed and curled next to Lilly.

As soon as I closed my eyes,I immediately blacked out.I was shook awake by Lilly as soon as I started sleeping.

“Lilly what the hell?”I turned to look at the clock.

“Its 4 in the morning,what’s wrong?”I asked as I got up and rubbed at my tired eyes.It felt like I slept only five minutes ago,funny how time passed.

“I had a nightmare Jess and my head is aching,I need some Advil”

I looked at Lilly.She was avoiding my eyes and had her hands clenched into fists.

I looked at my bedside table and groggily opened the second drawer.”Lilly you’ve been in my room more than once,you know where the Advil is”

She quietly took out the Advil and took the glass of water sitting on the table.”I forgot”

“You forgot? Lilly you had a nightmare,want to talk about it?”

She fiddled with her hands and laid her head on my lap.”I dreamt of Alex Lilly”

“What was it about?”

“Alex and I were out in the woods and suddenly we were attacked by rogues.We both immediately shifted and started to fight but they were too many Jessica,Alex he he--”She started to sob and I made her sit up.

“Lilly it was just a nightmare! Nightmares are just creations of our brains nothing more”

She hugged me tightly and started to quiet down.”I’m going to go confront Alex tomorrow”

“Well we did have a deal”

She chuckled and wiped at her face.”Lets go back to sleep”

“I was sleeping”I said grumpily.

“I wanted to talk to you”

“You could have just said that instead of  making up shitty excuses about advil and crap”

“Just shut up and sleep”

I rolled my eyes and laid down,Lilly curled up next to me and together both of us fell into a deep and peaceful slumber.

Both of us were so tired that we failed to notice two glowing golden eyes outside the window.
