Chapter Fourteen-You Again?

"So what are you going to do now?"Lilly asked.She casually straightened her back and tried to make herself comfortable on the balcony's railing.

"I don't know.I don't even know how Kyle is going to react when I'll tell him about dad"I said while hugging the pillow to my chest.

She turned to look at me.She got off the railing and came towards me."How did your dad find out about him in the first place? "

I let out a sigh. "He smelt his scent on me maybe.I don't know! I should have been more careful! I thought that the scent won't be noticeable"

She sat down on the bed."Well he is an alpha and your dad.At least he didn't react violently as you thought."

I laid down and stared up at the ceiling."Yeah maybe you're right...but I'm still worried Lilly"

"Everything will be alright Jess.Stay calm! You want to go and grab some drinks?"

I turned to look at her."This early?"

"It's never too late to grab some drinks!"She gave me a smirk and then stood up.Walking towards the balcony,she gave me one last look before jumping off.

I let out a sigh before walking towards the balcony and leaping off.

I landed on the ground and then looked at Lilly who was busy on a call.

"No,I'm taking Jess out for some drinks"She said as a frown played on her face.

"I can't okay! She needs me more than you!"

"Lilly?"She held her hand up as a gesture for me to stop talking.

"Think what you want.I'm not coming...NO!"She ended the call and slowly rubbed her forehead.

"Are you alright? What's up?"I walked towards her and lightly placed my hand on her shoulder.

"It was Alex,he-he--"She stopped talking and turned away from me.

"Hey"I turned her around and brought her in my embrace.

She held on to me tightly and sobbed quietly.I rubbed her back in an attempt to calm her down.

"He-he wants me to come o-over.I told him I couldn't but he-he just wouldn't listen!"She sobbed.

My eyes blazed like a raging fire.How dare he? Who did he think he was? He couldn't even find the courage to ask her out and now that she is finally his,he's going to boss her around? Over my dead body.

"Let's go!"I said as I started to drag Lilly towards the woods.

"Where are we going?"She asked.

"To meet Alex"I said coldly.

"Alex? Why on earth do you want to meet him?! I already told him to fuck off"She said as she brought us to a halt.

I turned around to glare at her."How dare he treat you like this? You're not his slave,you're not his fucking dog! You will not be bossed around! Not while Jessica Anderson is breathing."

She looked at me for a moment before sitting down on the wet,muddy ground.She patted the space next to her."Sit with me.It's time you learned about love"

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. "Oh stop it! Don't try to sugar coat his actions.He treated you like shit and you know that"

"He did nothing.Yes,he's a bit stubborn but that's a trait everyone has...even you! It's not like he hit me or anything! You're overreacting as usual.Sometimes I feel so proud that I don't have Alpha blood in me.Makes life easier"She said while bringing her knees towards her chest.
