It was a few minutes past seven when the sunlight filtered through my curtains, disrupting my sleeping pattern, so sleep was no longer an option. Instantly my phone vibrated on top of my bedside table, so I grabbed it, realizing I had a messaged from Jake, which he had sent to our group chat, which I was randomly added to.

GUYS REECE HAS APPARENTLY WOKEN UP, I'LL MEET YOU AT THE HOSPITAL AT 8 YEAH?

A smile overtook my face, knowing that Reece was alright had made my day ten times better. I began to quickly type back to our chat, but Casey and Charlie had got there before me, meaning I had to re-type absolutely everything.

The One I wish I got With ;)

The One I wish I got With ;)
not as lame as Charlie, not wanting to go to see Reece!!!!

Chaz
fuck you all

I put down my phone and let out a heavy sigh. I can't help but think, maybe I was the reason for Charlie's sudden anger? I don't get why though, I was just doing what was best, I had simply declined to run away with him to America, then he randomly found out that Reece and I were together, and that's what triggered this anger of his.
I began to place on some ordinary clothes, and dragged myself downstairs for breakfast. I wasn't expecting mum to have cooked anything, nor even be awake yet, so I had myself a yogurt and left her a note, explaining where and why I had gone. Hopefully she would understand. Hopefully she wouldn't get angry at me.

I began to short walk to the hospital, passing Reece's house, and also Jake's. My music leaked into my ears, and my feet tapped rhythmically to the beat of the song. I passed a few students who attended the same school as me, but I doubt they even recognized me.
The hospital loomed ahead, as I noticed two figures as they entered through the main doors, they looked rather familiar so I'm guessing it was the boys. I glanced down at my phone, and to my realization it was dead on eight.
A smile over-took my face as I realized Reece was fine - well not fine but at least he was better. I could talk to him, and I could tell him all about prom, although it may upset him, I knew it would also make him happy that I was happy.

The automatic doors opened, leading me inside the hospital. It smelt strongly of bleach, but yet also toast. The women behind the counter beamed in my direction, and I smiled back. I didn't need her help because I knew where I was going, I'd only just been here.
The elevator guided me to the correct floor, and I walked only a short distance before I reached his room. Faintly I heard laughter coming from Reece and Jake just chatting away to him. I smiled to myself, I looked back at my phone and only three minutes had passed.
