I cautiously walked along the coach, trying to catch a glimpse of the boys, or even Darcy. I heard the sound of Charlie's laugh, located at the back, and began to walk a little bit quicker. He waved when he saw me, shuffling over slightly making room for me. I squeezed in between him and Reece, which was useful. I smiled at Reece, and he kindly returned it.
"Hey Autumn." Charlie smiled, draping his arm around my shoulders.I smiled at him. "Do we know what film we're watching?" I asked.
Immediately I saw Casey, as he leaned over Reece and whacked me on the arm. "Holy shit, she's speaking guys." He burst out, and the boys began to laugh at his joke, which I found obnoxious, making me self-concious and embarrassed.
"Sorry." I said in a hushed tone. I felt everyone's eyes as they drifted over and landed on me, all confused at my apology.
"Whys that something to apologise for?" Charlie questioned, his blue eyes staring directly into mine, making shivers tingle throughout my body. He was perfect.
I shrugged. "I didn't think you liked hearing me speak." I squeeked, not making much sense to anyone.
I heard Casey as he chuckled at me again, making me grow even more worried and agitated. Did Casey not like me or something? If he did, then why couldn't he be straight with me and tell me, then that way I wouldn't have to be around him, and he'd be happy. It was quite upsetting, the thought of Casey not liking me. Throughout the duration of the previous two weeks, I had grown fond and attatched to every single one of the boys. They had made me smile, which is something I never really feel the need in doing. I felt comfortable around them, and had grown in confidence, which was hard to believe, but it was true.
I'd never have the confidence to talk to a group of boys, but I have somehow managed to overcome that somewhat fear of mine."Sorry." I sighed again, glancing mainly at Casey, who had a sympathetic look about him.
"There's no need to be." Reece soothingly spoke, placing a hand on my thigh, causing me to flinch slightly, but settle at his gentle touch.
"Where's Darcy and Jake?" I asked, scanning around the large coach, but not noticing any sign of Jake or Darcy.
"At home, doing some important things." Reece laughed raising his eyebrows at me. He closed his eyes and looked down at the floor. I could only think of some of the possibilities that Darcy and Jake would be doing. They'd say they'd be doing homework, when actually it was just an excuse to go upstairs and have a session of tonsil tennis, or also known as extreme kissing. I knew Darcy better than anyone else, and whenever she was in a relationship, she would push it to the climax, becoming overly attatched, and ending up without a boyfriend after a week.
Let's just hope she had calmed down from her previous relationship, and wouldn't scare Jake off. It would only ruin our current relationship with the boys. We'd end up taking sides. Jake would go back to Reece, Casey and Charlie. And I would be back with Darcy, who would be in constant tears, expecting me to comfort her. I would hate breaking apart with the boys, all due to Darcy being clingy. I hope we'd remain friends until whenver. Possibly the end of the year where we would all apply for different colleges, sixth form or an apprentiship. Personally I was applying for college. I believe that Darcy was as well, we said we'd always stick together. Well, actually Darcy suggested that. At first I thought it was out of friendship and kindess. But I grew to realise that it was the fact I had trouble gaining new friends.
