"We need to talk." Reece spoke sternly as we exited our English class, a few seconds earlier, due to us having a supply teacher for that lesson.

"About what?" I asked as we made our way to the canteen, where we would reunite with the boys. Reece paused in his tracks, and so did I. I turned and looked at him patiently, waiting for his reason.

"Apparently...." He started, but never finished. "Actually no don't worry." With that he continued to walk, quickening his step slightly.

I jogged slightly over to him, attempting to catch him up and find out what he was about to say. "No, Reece what were you going to say?" I questioned, grabbing his arm. He clasped onto my hand and intwined our fingers, he stretched his arm out to fall length and pulled me closer towards him. I felt as if I was contending on Strictly Come Dancing, with graceful moves like that. I slammed against his chest and laughed, he looked down and smiled at me. "What was it you wanted to tell me?" I giggled.

"You'll probably find out and lunch Autumn." Reece spoke.

"But I want to hear it from you." I pleaded, but he pushed me away and continued to walk again. I huffed and chased after him, walking by his side.
We entered the canteen, which was reasonably quiet today. I collected my usual hot chocolate, and waited for Reece as he queued up for a barbeque chicken pizza. Once everything was paid for, we found the boys, who were weirdly sat right down the bottom of the canteen. They all turned silent as both of us arrived, beaming to the both of us. Something was up.
Charlie began laughing, his dimples showing, revealing his glistening white teeth. I placed myself down next to him, and he smiled directly at me, offering me some chips from his polystyrene plate. I thanked him but declined, like I said before, the chips here were indigestible.

"Is it true?" Jake asked, placing his arm on the table and leaning on it. I tilted my head slightly and furrowed my eyebrows, whilst taking a sip of hot chocolate from my straw. "You and Reece?" He spoke, being more clear in his question this time. All the boys began laughing, and I looked at Reece who had turned a bright red shade.

It instantly clicked why they presumed this. Yesterday when I was speaking to Rosie, I lied and said that Reece and I were going to prom together. As I predicted, it had gone around the whole school. It was now my task to prove to everyone that Reece and I were only friends. I somehow needed to make it obvious to people that I was in love with Charlie.

"Where's Darcy?" I asked, completely avoiding the question that was asked.

"So it's true?! Casey exclaimed, but I simultaneously shook my head, as did Reece. A deep sigh escaped from all the boys mouths, as if they were somewhat disheartened that Reece and I weren't together.

"Darcy is at her driving test." Jake confirmed. How on earth did she manage to get out of her English lesson? Unless she lied and said she had a dentist appointment., because there is no way that any teacher would allow a student to miss an important lesson, especially as are exams were nearby.

"Everyone thinks you're dating." Charlie said in between his mouthfuls of chips. I looked at Reece with apologetic eyes. It was rude of me to include him in this, and I truly was sorry. My life consisted of mistakes. I simply was the biggest mistake. I created smaller ones in a row behind me, people would often be pulled into them, and this time it was Reece. I regretted it. I regretted everything about my life.

"Guess who passed their driving test?" Darcy squealed, flashing me her drivers license.

"Oh my god, no way!" I replied in shock. She handed me her license, so I could gaze at it in detail. I couldn't help but chuckle at her license picture, she looked bored and fed up and it was rather amusing. I smiled as I handed it back to her, congratulating her again.

"But how? You've only been driving for two weeks, if not that?" She shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know. But isn't it great!? I can now drive you to school now, so you'll never have to get on that bus again. Well, you might have to if I'm sick or something. But not so often, you know?" She babbled on and I nodded my head. I didn't want to let her down, but I would love to continue taking the bus. It's the only time I get to chat with the boys, alone. It was the first time the boys ever noticed me, that bus. I was going to miss it.

"You could drive the boys too." I suggested, but Darcy just chuckled at me.

"We won't all fit in my car, silly. As much as I'd like to take them, I can't." She sighed, flicking away her dark hair from her eyes.

I didn't exactly want to go in a car with her just yet. Although she had passed her test, and she probably was a fantastic driver. I didn't have the confidence to go in a car with her, until maybe a month or so later. She might have been exquisite with her driver instructor there, but she hasn't yet driven without him or her. So what is she panics and crashes, or something along those lines.

"I'll probably take Jake." She beamed. "I mean I could take Reece as well if you wanted. So you two can sit in the back and bond." She giggled.

"What about Charlie?" I asked. I needed to make it obvious that I was in love with Charlie.

"Why Charlie?" She scoffed.

Yeah, why Charlie? I thought to myself. What do I tell her to try and make her allow Charlie to come in her car? How obvious did I need to make it? How could I make Charlie fall in love with me? By being confident and more outgoing, being outstandingly beautiful and funny: basically to be everything which I am not. I needed him to realise that Rosie wasn't the correct person. She's already let him down once, so what thinks that she'll change her mind and say 'actually yeah Charlie, I was a jerk let's get back together.' She's popular and wants everything that Charlie isn't. But Charlie is my everything, and I love none the less. How could someone just let him down like that?

"B-because...I love Charlie." I admitted, and let out a huge sigh.

It was out there, Darcy knew and the whole school probably would by tomorrow.
