"Autumn, what's the problem? You've been especially quiet today, and I can only feel that something's been upsetting you." Reece spoked. It was lunch time, and he had pulled me away from the canteen and the boys to speak to me.
The kiss. It's been upsetting me. I've kept a secret from everyone. It kept me up for the majority of the night, over thinking about it. Why would Charlie even do that to me? Especially if he isn't fond of me, in that sense.

I shrugged at Reece, I was sworn by Charlie, not to tell anyone about the kiss. I knew Reece wouldn't give in until he finally received an answer from me. I had to tell someone about it. It was troubling me, and I guess Reece was about to find out the truth. "Charlie kissed me yesterday." I sighed, feeling a lot happier now I had finally tugged that out of my system.
Reece sighed, scanning around the corridor and raking his fingers through his blonde quiff. My head dropped to the floor, looking down at my grey, tattered, school shoes.

"I don't understand why he would lead you on like that." Reece spoke. I lifted my head up and met Reece's eyes. I furrowed me eyebrows together. Lead me on?

"L-lead me on?" I repeated what Reece had just said. He nodded, taking a step closer to me.

"Yeah." He replied.

"I know he didn't mean anything by it. I'm just confused about why he did it." I explained and Reece nodded. That was probably the longest sentence I had ever spoke to Reece, but I felt at ease with him. He was caring, he weirdly understood me. I felt comfortable around him, I could go to him with a problem, and he would care about it and somehow find a conclusion. I had no idea how he did it, but I applaud him for being able to achieve that.

"I don't know either." Reece shrugged. "He's a dick for doing that to you though. I honestly don't understand him. He's head over heels for his ex, the girl everyone detests. But yet he kissed you. He needs to quit playing games. I'm not having it." Reece argued, getting frustrated at Charlie's actions.

"It's like he knew it was wrong as soon as he kissed me, because he instantly pulled away and looked back at you." I sighed, leaning against the beige painted wall. Reece shook his head and frowned at me.

"I'll talk to him later." Reece nodded.

"Don't. I wasn't suppose to tell anyone about the kiss." I stopped Reece, and his eyes widened.

"If the kiss meant nothing to Charlie, then why is he making a big deal about it?" Reece questioned, but I shrugged. "Wait...did that kiss mean anything to you?" He spoke.

I sighed, as I dropped my head back down to my feet. "That's the thing, I don't know." I lifted my head back up as I gazed at Reece. "I mean I guess." I shrugged, but Reece sighed, dropping his head to the floor.

I stood underneath the bus shelter, waiting patiently for my delayed bus to suddenly arrive. Rosie approached me, with her gang of friends. She waved as she sat beside me, her friends all stood around, watching her enviously. "You're hair looks really nice today." She smiled, complimenting me. I blushed slightly, never exactly been given a compliment. Well, if you count Reece's as one.
