"Why are you so eager to go?" Darcy asked, finally walking out of the bathroom. She was wearing a black playsuit which was laced at the top of her chest. Her studden heels tapped on the bathroom floor as she gave me a twirl. Jake and I her were going to get together tonight.
I felt a little out placed, only wearing some black ripped skinny jeans, a black and white zigzagged blouse and my black leather jacket.

"I'm not. I just want to get going before it gets dark and cold." I lied.

I decided that I was going to go and see him, even if he didn't want me there. I wanted to see him, see him sing in this band of his. I wanted to learn more about him. I wanted to hear his voice as he sung. He was the only reason that I agreed to go. I never go anywhere, I stay inside most of the time, overthinking and procastinating.

"I have a bowler hat that would look really cute with your outfit." Darcy smiled, grabbing the bowler hat from the back of her door and positioning it perfect on top of my head. "Ready?" She asked and I nodded.

Seeing as Darcy hadn't passed her driving test, we had to walk. I wasn't exactly fussed about learning how to drive. I can easily walk to places, like this pub. Jake had messaged Darcy the details, just as he promised. Darcy had then logged in that information to her phone and found a route which guided us to the pub, and was estimated it would take twenty minutes, which was useful. I had never heard of this pub, The 8 Bells it was called, and was apparently on the outskirts of our town.

-

"Jake told me to meet him around the back." Darcy spoke, taking hold of my wrist and dragging me along with her. She dragged me through the hoards of drunken men outside. That's when she noticed Jake and Casey and began frantically waving to them. We walked faster towards them, and they smiled at us, allowing us through the back doors.

"We were actually waiting for you guys before we started. Charlie wasn't going on until you turned up." Jake chirped in, as we made our way backstage. I genuine smile formed on to my lips, that fact that Charlie made sure we wouldn't miss it was so sweet.

"Autumn!" I heard some exclaimed as there hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to be greeted by Charlie. "I've been waiting for you." He smiled, opening his arms and wrapping them around me, embracing me in an amorous hug. I dug my nose into his plain white shirt, smelling his cologne. I smiled again, imagining what it would feel like to actually be with him. To be welcome by one of those every morning, and waking up to the sound of his raspy voice as he compliments you, planting kisses on your forehead.
I could only dream.

"We'll go and get a seat." Darcy piped up, tapping my back, meaning I had to be excused from the hug. I waved goodbye to the boys. Darcy grabbed my arm as she pulled me along to this empty table which was too far away from the stage for my liking. The only good table was right at the front, where you were in full view of the boys, but that was taken by some dark haired girl around my age.

I sighed as I sat down. "Do they even have a name?" I asked, fiddling with this emerald green napkin which was placed in front of me.

Darcy stopped for a minute, attempting to remember the name."Radio Flicks? I don't know. They haven't verified it yet, but Jake was talking about it lots. At least I think that's what they're called." Darcy giggled.

Darcy excused herself from the table, to kindly order us both a refreshment. The lights began to dim, and I spotlight appeared on the main stage. I felt myself panic and my heart race increase. I stood up and glanced around the whole pub for Darcy, but she had vanished. Drunken men began clapping as Casey shuffled nervously on stage.I finally noticed Darcy's head stick up, struggling with two glasses of lemonade with a red and white paper straw inside the glass and a tacky paper umbrella.
She sat down opposite me, and I thanked her before taking a sip of my lemonade through the straw. Charlie then walked up on stage, his head dropped low, but instantly shot up and our eyes connected, he smiled and I smiled back. Then it was Jake, and Darcy instantly shot out of her chair, and screamed, waving frantically and clapping her hands, looking as if she had some sort of disability. Jake began laughing at her and gave her a wink and a slight wave. Finally Reece came out, but just stood out the back, fiddling with the wire that connected his microphone.

They all moved to the front of the stage, in height order. I was unsure whever that was purposely arranged, but it made me laugh either way. The first piano key was played and Casey licked his lips, lifting the microphone to his mouth.

"Aren't you something to admire

'Cause your shine is somethin' like a mirror

And I can't help but notice

You reflect in this heart of mine'

The worlds formed and floated perfectly out of his mouth. I never expected something like that from Casey. It made me smile how happy he seemed on stage and how he song that first part so perfectly. Charlie then lifted his microphone up to his mouth, and looked out into the crowd, in hope to find someone.

'If you ever feel alone and

The glares make me hard to find

Just know that I'm always

Parallel on the other side.'

His solo had created a firm smile on my face. His voice was truly amazing, quite low, but so soothing. He smiled as he wave to someone front row. I smiled as well, watching as everyone in the pub applauded them, a few middle-aged women dancing.
The music began playing, and the boys still carried on singing. Overall I was really enjoying this performance, and tonight in general.I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned around to be greeted by a pretty face, with dark long hair, wearing a golden laced dress. She smiled brightly and both Darcy and I.

"Are you guys Autumn and Darcy?" She shouted over the boys. Darcy nodded, but I remained quite, who the hell was she, and how the hell does she know who I am? No-one knows me.

"I'm aware I sound creepy. But I'm Rosie, Charlie told me to find you guys, and seeing as you're the only other teenagers here, I presumed that it was you." She explained giggling. She took the last remaining chair on our table, uninvitedly and looked at me smiling. I knew what she was like, she was going to be a proper bitch and tell me to back off Charlie, and I was quite scared of her.

"My friends sort of ditched me. They didn't want to come along. So I came here by myself. I feel awkward sat at the front. I mean sure it's nice to see Charlie finally preform, but I just felt awkward. Thanks for allowing me to sit with you." She began to babble again.

"It's fine." I said, faking a smile towards her. I couldn't help but feel anger towards her. She was perfect, and no wonder Charlie was still in love with her. She was everything I wasn't. Confident, beautiful and the list goes on.

"So how do you know the boys?" Darcy asked Rosie, oblivious to the fact that she was the girl that Charlie had dated. She fiddled around with her straw waiting for Rosie to answer.

Rosie coughed, flicked her fringe away from her eyes. "Charlie and I dated, I guess we're still friends, he invited me along, and seeing as I had nothing better to do, I came here." She shrugged looking up on stage at Charlie, laughing as he song along with the boys.

"Charlie is so sweet." Darcy exclaimed, but Rosie shook her head in disagreement.

"He's actually kind of boring. He gave nothing to the relationship, he's clingy too." She announced. "Are you okay?" She asked turning to me, I gulped and nodded.

"Sorry." I apologised again.

"N-no...no need to apologise, it's just you're really quiet, I wonder if anything was up. That's all." She spoke.

"I'm usually quiet." I almost whispered.

"Wait." She spoke. "You think I'm that crazy ex who wants to kill you and get revenge or something, like those stereotypical ones you see in movies." She choked, twiddling around with the necklace. "I don't like Charlie." She laughed.

"I wasn't thinking of that." I mumbled, when I was. I was scared about that, but I knew I had no reason to be worried. Charlie would never love me, or ever ask me to be his girlfriend, she had no reason to hate me, and I had no reason to hate her either. She seemed lovely.

"Have you spoken to the boys recently?"  Darcy asked out of curiousity.

"I've only ever been close to Charlie really." She shrugged. "I've heard stuff about them through Charlie. Jake likes someone." She smirked.

Darcy froze, and glared Rosie blankly. "Wait what." She choked.

"Totally in love with her." She repeated, trying to contain her laughter. I could help but laugh either. We all knew who this mysterious girl was. Darcy. It was obvious since, well since they started talking. I couldn't feel anything but happiness towards Darcy. Her and Jake truly did suit eachother, they were both lovely.

"Hey guys, enjoy the show?" Casey asked, placing both his hands on my shoulders. My head snapped back and I immediately smiled.

"Rosie!" Charlie exclaimed, running over to her side and embracing her in an amorous hug, like the one he gave me earlier, except Charlie and her kissed, and that's something I didn't have. I stared at them blankly, wanting to cry and leave, but I just kept replaying in my mind what Rosie had previously said about him. 'I don't like Charlie.'

pfft, I don't like Charlie my ass.

"It was good." I smiled, trying to avoid Charlie and Rosie, but my eyes drifted back towards them, eager to see what they were doing, which was nothing, thank god.
I heard a chair being dragged up behind me, and was greeted by Reece, who had a knowing smirk on his face.

"It's obvious." He leaned in a whispered in my ear. "You love Charlie....don't you?"
