Ruby was standing in her room putting up the drawing she made while listening to music. In the last weeks, she had been drawing quite a lot not knowing where to put everything. He was happy about it but it just was because of the stress she was going through with Kate or how Flora called her Satan in person.
Having a pencil in her hand and just moving it around not knowing how the drawing will look just drawing without thinking calmed her down much. For some people, it was spending time with the people they loved or writing poems or even songs but for her, it was drawing.
It was like that since they were a child and it hasn't changed since. Their biggest dream was to be a teacher at a school for children with disabilities since most people always said they wanted to be an elementary school teacher or teacher at middle school. But their dream was to help the children who are seen as 'different' because people couldn't understand it.
The drawings were attached to the wall him letting a small chuckle from him being happy how it ended up looking.
The hearing aid was on her bedside table her not needing it at home because no one would speak to her anyway. Her father worked in his office while her sister wasn't home like always with her friends somewhere in the city. And Ranboo was at home streaming on twitch.
This reminded her to watch his stream taking the hearing aid from her bedside putting it in her ear turning up the volume on her phone.
Ruby had always loved to watch her friends stream wanting to support them in any way. Streaming was one of her dreams when she was around fourteen but just stuck to making fan art or art of her friends or content creators she enjoyed watching or just art in general.
One time Stella had pressured them into watching the whole Dream SMP lore to make fan art of her character since she wanted it to use on her starting soon screen. Stella's chat of course knew that Ruby was her friend since kindergarten but it didn't stop some of them to send them hate on Twitter or Instagram.
Ranboo had his face cam on the glasses and a mask on his face to hide it. She booted up her laptop putting it on the stream there so she could text him on her phone.

They heard him chuckle lightly going back to playing Minecraft as some people in chat was asking who he was texting and the other one was telling them to shut up and leave him alone. It was pure chaos.
Ruby was slowly getting bored so he decided to close the twitch tab and start to work on a drawing on his laptop. She was drawing the Dream SMP characters in gravity falls style not knowing what else to draw.
It was fun to draw her friends and some other people in the style of cartoons gravity falls is one of her absolute favourites.
After she was halfway through the drawing she looked at the clock in her room to see it was already late and school was tomorrow but she didn't want to fall asleep during her lessons so she turned off the laptop to get ready for bed.
Ranboo was still streaming which meant they wouldn't talk today any more or at school since Eloise always tried to keep her away from him for whatever reason. The only time they would interact would be in American sign language and after school when they would do something together.
He took a shower, brushed his teeth, put on his pyjamas, took out the hearing aid and laid down. It was always the same routine.
Ruby looked at her ceiling in hopes to feel more tired than she was so she could just close her eyes and doze off. But she could only hope.
After ten minutes of laying there not falling asleep, they stood up sitting down at their desk opening the laptop to continue on the drawing. The first thing they wanted to do was to call Stella but she was probably still asleep or getting ready for school. And Ranboo well he wasn't streaming anymore but she didn't want to interrupt him if he was getting ready to sleep.
She also pulled up a stream to just have something in the background running even when she couldn't hear it.
Ranboo on the other side was having an inner dialogue with himself about if he should call her. They haven't talked the whole day in school making him want to know what she did today. He liked when she talked about things she liked so passionately it made him feel happy. Not because of what she was saying, no more because she trusted him that he wouldn't judge her about it.
Thinking of Ruby he had forgotten to take the pullover with him after he left after the dinner with her family. Did he care? No not really he wouldn't wear it anyway. Did Ruby care? No probably not since she just would have forgotten about it.
The inner dialogue with himself made him forget Tubbo on the other line talking about something to him.
"- And then she just ended the call. Hello? Ranboo are you even listening?" Ranboo snapped out of the trance cursing at himself inside his head because he didn't listen to his friend.
"Uhm I kind of just zoned out I guess do you mind telling me from the beginning?" he heard Tubbo sigh clearing his throat getting ready to tell the story again. Not like he was talking about something important. Right?
