Ruby was in a small forest near her house looking for the river they saw the last time they went on a walk. This time he wasn't alone but next to her was her friend who wasn't so pleased to be there.

"Rue why are we in the fucking forest I thought we would do something fun" Eloise groaned looking at the girl in front of her who was happily picking up things from the ground.

"Don't you think it's fun? We can go home if you want?" She didn't want to go home at all. It was peaceful to be there. Trees around her, the fresh air filling her lungs and the flowers that bloomed again.

"Yes please the mud is getting on my new shoes and I don't want them to be dirty" she turned around walking faster than before not even waiting for him. They sighed walking fast to catch up with Eloise who was staring at her phone probably texting one of her friends which were the more popular girls. They never understood why Eloise wanted to be friends with them since they were more in the popular group.

"Where do you want to go?" she asked the other person getting a shrug as she looked at her phone nearly tripping on a branch.

"Rue I'm so sorry but my mom called and I need to get home" she tried to sound convincing but failed slightly. Ruby still nodded hugging her before walking home to do something else or call one of her friends.

The rest of the walk was silent her deciding to go alone to find the river. After around half an hour she saw behind some bushes an elderly couple sitting on a blanket watching the birds. It was adorable how after so many years they still did things together. They looked in love after so many years.

She took off her boots stepping in the surprisingly not too cold feeling pleasant against her skin. She started humming a soft melody looking for stones or even crystals in the clear water. What she didn't see were the warm smiles on the couples face.

"Charles look at her collecting things like we did when we were her age. No internet or what's an app just us and the nature" the woman looked at the girl happily.

"Mary don't act like this is the first time you saw a teenager in nature" she gave him a stern look earning a sigh.

"You're right it isn't the first time but they stay inside and just play these dumb game how is the name? forknight?" the man nodded assuming that it was the name.

Ruby got out of the water sitting down on the grass taking out her pencil and a small notebook to draw in. It would be a simple sketch that she would give the persons on the other side of the river.

They drew them pretty well not using the rubber many times in the process walking up to them slowly tapping the woman shoulder. She turned her head looking at the girl questioningly.

"Miss I saw you and your husband sitting here and you both looked just so lovely so I decided to make a drawing of you" he stretched out the drawing showing it to the lady who took it gently tapping her husband's shoulder also turning around.

"Thank you so much dear it looks very pretty do you want any money because that must have been hard work" Ruby just shook her head smiling at the compliment from the woman.

"No it's yours have a nice afternoon" they stood up from the position on the floor disappearing in the bushes before the couple could say anything else.

"Would you have thought we would be seen as a lovely couple and getting drawn by such a beautiful young girl? I bet the boys are all running after her asking to be her boyfriend." Well, one boy was already doing that but he just didn't notice it yet.

"Mary boys these days don't like such polite and warm-hearted girls like her they fall in love by the looks of the girl, not the personality." Charles sighed helping up his wife who interlocked her fingers with him making their way home to their family.

Ranboo was standing outside of Ruby's door flowers in his hands knocking on the wooden door. Only shortly after Ruby opened the door slowly jumping a bit as the flowers got shoved into her face.

"Happy valentines day I thought you would like them. You told me when we went on a walk last time that you loved pink tulips so since we are both single I bought you flowers" he told her nervously as he saw her smelling at them smiling more than she already was.

"Thank you but I don't have anything for you I mean I could make you a hat or give you some crystals or we could go out and I give you tulips as well. Did you know they represent good wishes-- and I'm rambling again sorry" they put the flowers in a vase filling it up with a bit of water beforehand.

"You don't need to give me anything but if you want you can do it I won't mind" she nodded shortly after standing before him with a bag and her shoes on.

"We are going shopping come on I want to see how nail polish looks on you" they pulled him out of the door taking a key with them. They would need to go by bus to get there.

They stepped out of the bus walking inside the shopping centre. The first shop they walked into was not so crowded with people like the others were. He was quite happy about it.

"So what colour do you want to get?" she asked near the nail polish. Ranboo crouched looking throw the colours choosing black and white. Ruby also took some of the red hair dye with her since her hair was a lot more blonde than when she dyed it before.

The two friends walked out of the store both of them catching glimpse of the person who had told Ruby only a few hours ago that she was needed at home. Ruby just kept walking pulling Ranboo with her to get ice cream.
