018, chapter eighteen

Music was blasting through the speakers of Ranboo's mom's car as they were driving to pick up Stella who was at the baggage claim.

They both were singing to 4EVER by Clairo while Ranboo was driving the car. Well, Ruby was singing and Ranboo was just humming softly concentrating on driving.

"Boo do you have any gum here?" she didn't even notice how she used the new nickname just looking around trying to find gum.

He took out a pack of gum from his jacket giving it to them. It was bubble gum flavour which was one of Ruby's favourites when she was a child.

Ranboo who was sitting next to her was very nervous about meeting Stella because that meant she would see his face. Of course, they have known each other for a long time but he was still anxious about meeting her.

"Ran stop being nervous Stella would never judge you she is the nicest person I've met" Ruby reassured him trying to make him calm down which worked for the most things.

"But what if she thinks I'm not cool or nice Bee?" he asked parking the car at the airport. Ruby stepped out of the car running over to open Ranboo's door taking it as a challenge who was quicker.

He opened the door being the gentleman he was getting an eye-roll in response. Ruby pulled him by his hand pulling him with her into the airport to the Starbucks they would meet at.

A blonde-haired girl was sitting there drinking her cappuccino looking around for her friend. Stella saw her best friend so she took her things with her and ran up to them hugging them tightly.

Ruby hugged back just as tightly kissing her cheek as a hello. It was a normal thing to kiss each other on the cheek or forehead when seeing each other after a long time.

"I missed you so much baby" Stella whispered into her ear looking at the boy who was squinting his eyes.

"Is that Boobie boy?" Stella asked quietly getting a nod. They let go of each other Stella went up to Ranboo hugging his waist surprising him slightly.

"You are so small" she kicked him in the shin for that going to Ruby holding their hand. He was just holding his leg looking at her in disbelief.

"I'm 5'3 shut up I'm taller than Puffy" He let out a laugh getting a slap over the head by Stella.

"Stella be nice" Ruby scolded her getting a pout in response.

"But he started it he told me I'm short which is very offensive so I'm the innocent one here" she pointed at him as he just shook his head looking down at her.

"That's not true you kicked and slapped me that is child abuse" he pointed back at her to which she just took out her phone.

"I'm calling my lawyer"

"Eyy Stellita what are you doing" a loud voice was heard from the phone.

"I need you as my lawyer" Quackity just nodded trying to find out where Stella was standing. It definitely wasn't her room.

"Why do you need me as your lawyer and where the fuck are you" Stella turned around Ranboo's chest visible behind her.

"Ranboo is suing me for child abuse"

"What did you do?" he asked more seriously looking her in the eyes.

"I may have kicked him-but he called me short you know how much I hate when people say that"

"Listen her man don't disrespect my daughter like that wait Stellita I'm getting your dads in here" Shortly after Sapnap and Karl were sitting there.

"Hey Quackity" Karl and Sapnap greeted at the same time both starting to giggle because of it.

"Hello Father," Stella said deeply catching their attention as they both looked behind her seeing some tall standing there while a girl with red hair was standing next to her.

"Hey, Ella whos that with you," Sapnap asked going with his face more bear the screen of his phone.

"Oh that's Ranboo and my wife Ruby but please ignore them" they started walking to the car wince Ranboo got tired of standing there.

"You're meeting Ranboo before us?" Karl said holding his chest heartbroken.

"Tell me when and I'm there Karl I want to meet your cat" they all went silent giving her a look getting an eye-roll.

"Can we get back to what we were talking about before you two joined" Quackity nodded eagerly.

"Our daughter kicked Ranboo in the shin" they started shouting and hyping her up "let me-let me finish! because he called her short now you two gorgeous hot men please defend your daughter"

"Ranboo how could you say something like that do you want me to call your child ugly?" Sapnap said defending her

"I told her I'm so-" he got cut off this time by Quackity.

"Did I say you could talk?" Ranboo grunted sitting down in the car as Stella sat down in the back. "please continue handsome" he told Sapnap who cleared his throat

"As Is-" Stella phone turned off making her let out an oops.

Ruby connected Ranboo's phone to the aux asking him to unlock his phone which he did putting his Spotify on private.

Just for me to start playing Stella started to vibe in the backseat as she charged her phone.

"This song slaps" she shouted over the music getting a nod from Ruby who smiled at her.

Soon they both started moving their hands singing to the song while Ranboo just drove the car and ignored the singing.

He felt happy to have them in his life both of them making it a lot crazier than it already was. Ruby brought in happiness and the feeling of comfort while Stella brought the craziness and feeling of freedom. He was happy to have Stella as his best friend.

And he wouldn't be happier to have Ruby as the person he loved the most platonically or romantically. He didn't care as long as they were there.
