He stopped in his tracks as he witnessed two men kissing the life out of each other. Seungcheol was one of the men, and the other he didn't know who. Noticing a person's other presence, the two stopped.
Jihoon didn't know why he didn't say anything. He didn't know why he just stood there with their dog in his hands. He didn't know why and how he should feel when after the two kissed, they stared at each other's eyes for a while as they catch their breath. He didn't know how he should feel when he saw Seungcheol holding the other man's hand in a protective manner.
But what he does remember was the evident shock on Seungcheol's face when their dog barked.
That was what took their attention away from each other.
That was the only way for them to disassociate from one another.
He heard Seungcheol called his name but why was Jihoon only staring at the two.
Why was he just staring?
He felt something wet pouring down his cheeks. What was it? Why would it rain on such a beautiful night?
Jihoon touched his face to find out it was filled with tears. He laughed bitterly to himself and return his gaze to Seungcheol who was hiding the man behind him. He didn't do a good job because the man he was trying to hide was taller than him.
Jihoon don't know what to do or to say even, all he could muster up to say to Seung Cheol back then was,
"Let'sgo home, Cheol."
