Mid 2014

Michelle was working on new music for her upcoming album and had just been given a song that she felt was for more than just one person. She could hear the harmonies and vocals in her head and knew there were no better people to join her than Beyoncé and Kelly. When the producer brought her the song she immediately loved it and knew exactly what she wanted to do. Michelle reached out to Kelly, still oblivious after ten years and it was sometimes funny to Beyoncé and Michelle. Although sometimes Beyoncé and Michelle wondered about Kelly's openness to everyone, when they were so private with their lives. Kelly's immediate response was yes. Then she reached out to Beyoncé and her response was also an immediate yes. It was ironic that their responses were yes because the song was titled "Say Yes." Within a few days of reaching out the trio were reunited in the studio and ready to record the song.

The DC3 were reunited for one song and they knew the fans were going to go crazy. Yes they had recorded a song with Kelly but it wasn't like this song. No comparison, each song had its own unique qualities. The "Say Yes" song was a gospel, reggae, rnb mix that was a feel good song and made folks happy. Later in the year once the song hit the radio, it was being played across both gospel and secular stations. The women gathered together once again to shoot the video and it was fun times for them all. Each missed being together as a group but were too stubborn to admit it. The video shoot was fun and loving and the women had fun. After the shoot Beyoncé took them all to dinner and they had a wonderful conversation and vowed to do better with staying in contact with each other. There was even a short behind the scenes video clip shot for Michelle's album promotion and website. It showed the dynamic of the three's friendship and how they love to be around each other and just have fun.

End 2014

Beyoncé stared at the phone and smiled so wide at the response she got from Michelle. Though they had vowed to stay in touch it was slacking on both their ends. Beyoncé because she was busy being a mom and writing music when she could. Michelle because she had been finishing up her album and then was starting to do a few promotional things. But the year was winding down and both were looking forward to spending some time together. Beyoncé thought that Michelle still felt some type of way about them but once they talked, two weeks before Christmas, all was cleared up. Beyoncé was glad her mother had pushed her to reach out and they were repairing their relationship. For the two weeks leading up to the New Years party Beyoncé and Michelle spoke every day. It didn't matter if it was for ten seconds or ten hours they made time for each other. It was the moments like this in their friendship that made the women the most happy. An intimacy could be seen in all the women's public encounters, there was a love so deep for each other.

Mama T noticed the significant change in her daughter, as did everyone else. This wasn't the old Beyoncé but a new and improved Beyoncé. The relationships that she had emotionally withdrawn from over the past two years were slowly beginning to rebuild themselves. Everyone was happy. The one relationship that remained strained was Beyoncé's relationship with Shawn. She couldn't help but to feel like he was hiding something. Her woman's intuition was picking up on some strong cues. She wouldn't make the assumption though until she had definite proof of what she suspected. Though they were still married their homelife no longer felt like a marriage. It was more of a partnership especially because the numerous business deals they both had that were either together or individual. Though they may not have worked as a couple their sense for business together was phenomenal.

As 2014 progressed Blue was growing fast and she was so smart. Beyoncé was amazed by her daughter and she loved her more each day. She really loved the relationship Blue shared with Michelle. Since Blue first met Michelle at Mama T's house almost two years ago she would always ask for Michelle. Beyoncé called Michelle Belle and Blue couldn't pronounce it, so it came out as Ba and that's what she stuck with it eventually turned into BaBa. It was cute Michelle called her Bubbie and Blue called her BaBa. Beyoncé couldn't have asked for a better relationship between the two because their connection was so strong. As Blue got older she would ask to call Michelle by pointing to her mother's phone and saying BaBa and putting her hand to ear as a fake phone. It was so adorably cute. Who could say no to that?
