Nervously I fidgeted with my fingers behind his back and looked down again. After weeks of keeping this all to myself, I would finally tell him.
"Jisung and I, we were friends before. Then we both caught feelings, things seemed to be going well until I found out that he got abused after seeing bruises on his arms and back. It was painful to see to say the least."
I took a deep breath, my hands shaking at the thought of it, yet I was too tired to spill any more tears.
"We talked about it. A lot. But I was just a kid. There wasn't a lot I could help him with. He didn't even want me to tell my parents."
As I went on I felt a warm hand on my cheek. I let my hand rest on his, melting into his comforting touch.
"Weeks went by and suddenly this rumour page started talking about Jisung's abusive dad and unhelpful boyfriend. They didn't even blame Minho who has always been Jisung's best friend."
Not that blaming people was fair but it still didn't add up. Everyone hated me over something I had no control of.
"He started meeting up with Seungmin and at the same time I met Changbin. That's what only fueled the page and students assumed I was cheating which of course wasn't true. Jisung on the other hand..."
