Finn twitched his fingers, clutching a soft blanket.

He heard soft humming, humming sounding deeply familiar; a voice who hasn't graced Finn's ears since years ago.

Finn ignores the lovely melody, instead he focused on the coldness pressing against his forehead.

"No..." the giant muttered, humming and a cold towel reminded of when he fell ill. Emma Knight, Finn's mother, always sang lovely tunes, and dabbed cold towels gently against her son's head.

But, she's gone, Finn thought, squeezing the blanket tighter.

"Finn..." the soft voice whispers. "Finn, feeling better?"

No matter how hard he fought keeping his eyes shut, Finn squinted, and his mouth dropped open. "Mom?"

Emma's kind brown eyes focused directly on her son; she looked older, but remained beautiful as ever.

"You scared us last night," Emma said. "Collapsed before I finished making dinner."

"U....us?" Finn dared ask.

"DADDY!"

Finn formed a lump in his throat; a short six year old boy leaped into Finn's arms. The boy and him shared nearly identical facial features, and bubbly personalities.

"Max Knight, I said stay quiet. Daddy needs his rest." Finn gazes towards the bedroom entrance.

"Sorry daddy," Max apologized.

"What hells happening?!" Finn snapped.

"Woah, nobody told me, and Olly there's a party occurring."

"D...DAD?!"Finn stammers.

"Why shocked to see us? You invited over for the entire weekend."David Knight scratched his chin.

If things weren't odd enough, a 13 year old boy stood beside David. The boy looked more Emma than David.

"Have you taken his temperature again?"The shy boy squeaked.

"Yep, 97 degrees," Emma said kissing Finns face cheek. "He's hundred percent better, right baby?"

Finn physically felt good, yet he questioned his emotional status.

"I've gone insane..." Finn shook. "I've gone insane or I'm DEAD!"

"He doesn't sound good." Olly pushed pass David, and placed both hands on Finn's face.

Finn and Olly locked gazes, Olly's gentle face, and innocent smile reminded Finn of Neal. "Finn, breathe big guy! We practice breathing techniques together, remember? Inhale, and exhale."

"I...I...where's Neal?" Finn harshly shoved Olly away.

"Neal? Who the hell is Neal?" Meg asked.

"Neal, he's my little brother! We were eating dinner together, and a crazy guy attacked the restaurant, and shot me!" Finn roared, leaping onto his feet.

"Calm down, Finn! There wasn't a shooting, or anyone named Neal. The fever really messed with your brain." Meg grabbed her husbands hand, praying he rest again.

"I'M NOT CRAZY! I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE I AM, OR WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING...AND." Olly stepped forward, and hugged his brother tightly.

"It's okay Finn, please calm down,"Olly whispers softly. "We'll figure out what's happening together."

"Olly, this place isn't real, you're not real." Finn grunted.

"Darling, you're scaring us," Emma said.

"Mom, I need to go home. My little brother needs me, he's properly scared." Finns stressed.

"But we're home, daddy." Max added.

"He's right, we're home. Our life's perfect." Meg sweetly shared.

"No-no-no," He growled. "I need to find Neal!" Finn rushed out of the room, but he couldn't predict what came next.

Exciting the room, he entered another strange area. Once standing inside a simple bedroom, Finn discovered himself standing inside a child's room.

There's bookshelves, hanging movie posters, DVDs, and junk food wrappers. A small window shows the outside neighborhood Fin hasn't seen before. Whatever door he walked through vanished, and transported him to a whole new location.

"Sorry, I tried making your welcome comfortable. But I got carried away." Olly's voice spoke behind Finn.

"JESUS," Finn jumped. "Olly, please leave me alone."

"Wait, I can help!" Olly declared.

"How?! Why should I even trust you?!" Finn shouted.

"Cause we're brothers."

Finn moved uneasy, his heart and mind confused whether to trust the odd child. "Alright, if we're brothers, then prove it."

"You're named Finn Knight. Several long years ago, our mom Emma Knight passed away, and took me with her. Our dad, David, works as a cop, and married Molly Mill. You and her son, Neal, formed the strongest brotherly bond, and you adopted him. Mom and dad originally wanted to name me Alex, but you said the name Olly sounded better. Thus, mom choose Olly."

Finn stood dumbfounded. "H...how..."

"How do I know everything? Well, if you quit screaming every five seconds, I'll explain." Olly chuckled.

"Sorry, but exactly where are we? Am I dead or insane?" Finn asked.

"Neither," Olly shook his head. "We're simply stuck in between life and death. Luckily, I'm your guardian angel!"

"Guardian angel, stuck between life and death?" Finn remained unconvinced he's mentally stable.

"Yep!" Olly cheerfully chirped. "I'm here to guide you."

"Guide me home, Olly." Finn demanded, squeezing Olly's shoulders.

"I'll try, returning home isn't an easy journey." Olly informed. "Sit down big bro, and let me explain."

"Okay, tell me everything."
