"Sokka, I told you i'm fine." (Y/n) said softly, taking Sokka's hand off of her bicep.

"I know, but—"

"You saw Katara heal me up. I'm good as new," (Y/n) smiled, watching Sokka sink in his seat beside her. "Or is this just an excuse to feel my muscles?"

"What?" Sokka sat up in his seat. "No!"

"Admit it, I have more muscles than you do."

"You do not."

"Do too."

Toph groaned dramatically. "For being the oldest of the group, you both act like children," Toph crossed her arms in front of her chest. "And i'm stronger than both of you, anyway."

"We can't bend, Toph. Let us pretend we're strong for a minute." (Y/n) lightly nudged the smaller girl with her shoulder.

"I'm strong!" Sokka squeaked.

(Y/n) laughed to herself. She knew Sokka was just trying to make sure she was alright, but he was very adamant on making sure she was perfectly fine. Sure, a whole throwing star in her arm hurt like a bitch, but after some healing she was good to go. It was cute how much he was fussing over her, even though it seemed a little out of character.

The GAang was on a train into Ba Sing Se. (Y/n) sat between Toph and Sokka, while Aang and Katara sat across from them.

Katara breathed a sigh of relief as they approached the inner wall of the city.

"I can't believe we finally made it to Ba Sing Se in one piece." Katara said.

"Hey, don't jinx it!" Sokka held his hand out to shush his sister. "We could still be attacked by some giant, exploding Fire Nation spoon."

"Those don't exist." (Y/n) whispered to Sokka.

"Or find out the city's been submerged in an ocean full of killer shrimp."

"You been hitting the cactus juice again?" Toph asked flatly.

"I'm just sayin'. Weird stuff happens to us."

Just as he said that, a man approached the side that (Y/n) sat on. She sat up quickly, just as he turned to sit on her. She narrowly missed him, and he sat where she was just a second ago, between Sokka and Toph.

He had a dead look in his eyes, like there wasn't a thought in his head. He sucked on a cob of corn as he stared at nothing in particular.

(Y/n) stood in the aisle, watching as Aang stared out the window.

"Don't worry, Aang. We'll find Appa." Katara soothed.

"It's such a big city." Aang said.

Sokka squeezed himself away from the corn-sucking dude. "He's a giant bison, where could somebody possibly hide him?"

The four of them stuck their heads out of one of the windows as the train passed through the inner wall, and into the city.

"Oh." Sokka mumbled.

(Y/n) knew Ba Sing Se was big, but she didn't know it was this big. The wall stretched to the horizon, and the rail for the train ran over the city. The ground below them was full of buildings with thin roads strewn between them. There wasn't an empty space in sight, everything was crowded together. Every space in the wall had been occupied by something.

The train pulled into the station, and the kids all got off.

"Back in the city. Great." Toph said sarcastically.
