"Wait JJ?" Ivy was taken aback as she backed away from the boy after colliding with him. When she looked at him, she noticed a new scar on his face. He must have picked it up after she left his house.

Fuck, I should've stayed; now he's in pain and has no one to help him.

"Ivy?" JJ said, snapping her out of her thoughts and bringing her back to the present moment, He sounded just as surprised to see her.

" Are You in a suit?" She said after taking in his appearance,

"And you're in a dress?" growing up Ivy never wore dresses, that's why he sounded so suspired to see in her in one. Ivy looked at JJ and noticed he was staring at her chest

"oi," she clicked her fingers to bring his eyes back up " keep 'em up here dude, What are u doing here?"

"On a mission, Ninja shit baby," he said with a clap of his hand.

"A mission?"

"Yep don't get time to talk, wanna pass this to Sarah for me and tell her it's from Vlad" JJ passed Ivy a little white piece of paper.

"Who's Vlad?"

"shhhhh," Holding a finger to his lips, He walked back through the crowd, vanishing in the process.

Ivy suspected it was the alcohol catching up with her because he didn't seem to be there as if it were a hallucination. She turned around to see Sarah and looked down at the paper in her hands. As she approached the girl, she tapped her on the shoulder and held out the note.

"what's this?"

"Note from Vlad"

"from Vlad?" Sarah immediately smiled at the name. Oh, its's John b.

"Yeah JJ said to give it to ya, now I'll be off I wanna see what he's doing here"

"You're gonna go talk to JJ?"

"yeah, he said he was on some sort of mission and I'm making it a mission of my own to find out what it is, he's been pretty secretive lately"

"You sure he'll talk to you?"

"nope but no harm in trying"

"Uh ok just be careful, you're a bit drunk"

"I'll be right what's the worst that can happen?"

Sarah gave Ivy a thumbs up and entered the Island Club. Looking around for JJ, she noticed some commotion coming from down the hall, people with raised voices and heavy footsteps gradually approaching Ivy. Ivy looked down the hall and saw JJ running towards her.

"JJ?"

"can't talk Ivy, getting chased by a bunch of Kooks In suits" Ivy peered behind the boy to see Rafe and his friends charging at JJ.

"Come on, follow me," she said as she picked up her dress and ran up the stairs, JJ trailing behind her. Ivy wasn't sure how she wasn't collapsing; the alcohol was hitting her harder than ever.

Ivy spotted an open door ahead of them while running across the second level of the club, so she grabbed JJ's hand and pulled him in before Rafe could see. She shut the door behind them and tried to take a step back, but her back was pressed up against a wall.

Shit, this is the cleaner's room, and it's tiny.

Ivy looked up to see what she thought was the boy's face, only to realize they were still holding hands. Ivy felt her other hand being taken by his and JJ getting closer.
