"fuck, it's getting dark and he's not back yet," Ivy told JJ from the comfort of his arms wrapped around her on the bed.

"ah yeah, should we go look now?"

"Yeah, I'm getting kinda worried"

It had been hours since John B was at the Chateau and not a word from him, the four had spent the day coming up with theories on where he was and if we went through with it or not. JJ suggested that he pulled the gun on him but Ward somehow locked him in the wine seller, Ivy didn't listen to the details but it sound like JJ was describing a comic book rather than a real-life scenario, then again none of this felt like real life.

"Kie, Pope gets up, were going to look for John B" JJ shouted from the bedroom

"finally," Pope says with a sigh of relief while he gets off the couch and rushes outside to the boat.

Kiara quickly follows him and jumps in.

"where should we look first?" Kiara asked once JJ and Ivy are close enough to the boat.

Ivy wasn't sure where he would be, their only logical place was Tanny hill but they couldn't just go asking around for John B without looking suspicious.

"Let's just go check the Cameron's house," Pope said and JJ looked at Pope as if he'd lost his mind.

"what?" Pope questions him.

"We can't just go to their house, then they will know that we know," JJ tells Pope.

"but what if they don't know"

"How could they not know?"

"do you think Sarah knows" Kiara butts in.

"If one of you says know one more time I'm getting off the boat" Ivy raised her voice at the three slightly which earned all eyes on her.

Kiara, Pope and JJ went quiet for a moment, then the silence was filled with JJ starting the boat.

Kiara looked cautiously around her like they were being followed before asking JJ, "where are you taking us?" 

"Tanny Hill" He responded to which Ivy and Pope shared an equal expression of confusion as he was just arguing against going there.

"didn't you just say-"

"yeah well if John B is anywhere it's probably there and if what he said is true then I wanna have a word with Ward myself"

Ivy looked to JJ to grab his attention but he looked set on his decision, she was unsure what had made him change his mind in less than 20 seconds but he seemed determined to find John B.

As it was a decent boat ride towards TannyHill Ivy decided she needed to relax, she had been under stress these past few days and this morning hadn't made it any better, she grabbed her AirPods out of her pocket and pressed play on her favourite playlist, it was a shared one between herself and her friends back in Australia, she missed them dearly and couldn't wait to tell them what she'd been up to here when she went back.

She timed this all perfectly as Kiara and Pope had just begun bickering over some nonsense, Ivy's music was too loud so she couldn't hear a word they were saying, she kept her eyes on JJ however as he drove the boat through the marsh, she was unsure how he could make such a minimal task looking so hot.

JJ's head turned around and his eyes searched for hers, he mouthed to her "you good" and she gave him a nod.

Ivy was flattered by the simple gesture, she always appreciated the little things that JJ did for her when no one was looking, it was his way of taking care of her.
