It was just a few days after Dr. Armando, his henchmen, and their new friend Felix were in jail, and the members of C.E.L.E. were back from their vacation. They just finished having breakfast when the newspaper arrived. Elliott went to the door to get the paper, and when he saw the front page, he gasped. The main story's headline said, 'Criminal Masterminds Escape Jail!!!' The front page showing the cell that held Dr. Armando and the Spermatos was empty, and there was a big hole in the wall.
"I can't believe that Dr. Armando and the Spermatos escaped from the prison already!" Elina said.
"Guys, I know what we're doing today," Chary said, knowing they were going to need to pay a visit to Dr. Armando's lair. So they hopped in the car with Connie and Patch and drove to Dr. Armando's hideout. They finally arrived there and opened the door that the Spermatos always left unlocked, and went inside. They just closed the door when they heard the maniacal laugh of Dr. Armando.
"You are too late now because I just finished my latest machine, and I will use it on you guys right now!" Dr. Armando yelled. He then turned on his machine, which started creating lime green hypnotizing symbols coming toward them!
"It's a hypnotizing machine! Cover your ears and close your eyes!" Lila yelled out. Luckily, she, Elina, and the dogs were able to do it in time; however, Chary and Elliott, who were closer to the machine, weren't able to and heard this:
"You will do whatever I say every time you hear 'Double-Faced'!" the machine said in a very hypnotizing way. After the machine stopped, Dr. Armando said "Double Faced" and ordered Chary and Elliott to fight Lila, Elina, and the dogs.
"Chary! Elliott! What are you doing?" Lila asked the hypnotized Chary and Elliott during the fight while being held down.
"Lock them in one of the cells and tie them both to the pole!" Dr. Armando ordered Chary and Elliott.
"Yes, boss," Chary and Elliott said simultaneously. They each picked up one of the girls and the dogs.
"You let us go right now, or I will kill you!" Elina yelled while they were taking them to the prison area of the lair.
"Elina. Even though Elliott is working for the villain, he is still your brother," Lila told Elina. The dogs nodded in agreement.
"I wouldn't really kill them; it is just a threat," Elina whispered. They finally made it to the prison area, where Chary and Elliott did what Dr. Armando told them to do. They then locked the cell and closed the door of the prison.
"I can't believe it. We are locked in Dr. Armando's prison again by our colleagues," Elina said after Chary and Elliott left.
"Elina, I have been working against Dr. Armando since my detective agency opened; they tried to stop me four times; however, all four of those times, I came up with an amazing plan and stopped him along with his Spermatos," Lila replied.
"Did you come with a plan yet?" Elina asked.
"I came up with a plan when they were carrying us here," Lila whispered. "We wait till the hypnotized Chary and Elliott come in, and then we ask them why they are acting so double-faced, and then they will go back to the way they were. They then free us from the cell, and we destroy the machine," Lila concluded quietly.
Finally, Chary and Elliott came with a snack tray for the girls and dogs at three o'clock.
"Hey, guys. Why are you two acting so 'double-faced'?" Elina asked, using and emphasizing the magic words. After hearing the magic words, Chary and Elliott's bright green eyes turned back to their original colors.
"Wait, why are you two in here, but we aren't?" Elliott asked.
"Dr. Armando used his new machine on you, made you guys his new henchpeople, and made you lock us in here," Lila explained. The ex-henchpeople unlocked Lila, Elina, and the dogs and then untied them. Chary opened the door, and Dr. Armando gasped, seeing the ex-prisoners outside of their cell.
"New henchpeople, why are these prisoners outside of their cell?" Dr. Armando asked.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you something. We no longer work for you," Chary explained. Chary and Elliott put in earplugs, and while Chary, Elina, and Elliott fought Dr. Armando and his henchmen, Lila went to the machine.
When she was at the machine, she decided because this machine was so dangerous, she just had to destroy it. So she pushed the self-destruct button and yelled to her colleagues that the device was going to explode. She grabbed Connie while Chary grabbed Patch. The members of C.E.L.E. ran out of the building, hopped in the car, and drove off just before the building exploded.
"Looks like this was the end of Dr. Armando. We had five battles with him, and we won all five," Lila said after they arrived back home. To celebrate the defeat of their most prominent enemy, they had a huge party and invited all of their friends and family. They had a toast, and all lived happily ever after.
