After getting back from their Chinese adventure, the members of C.E.L.E. were nervous about their newest enemy Felix had escaped jail and would most likely try to steal another famous monument around the world. They only had one more place in the world to go on their world tour.
"Well, I think that Felix may steal something from Paris because that place has a huge amount of famous monuments so how about we go to Paris for our final country? I've always wanted to go there anyway," Lila told her friends when they were back at home. They all agreed, and after packing their bags and a flight, they finally arrived in Paris.
The next day they went to the catacombs.
"This is where people buried dead bodies," Chary explained as they looked around. They then went to the Arc de Triomphe and saw Napoleon's tomb. They went to the Wedding Cake Church and the Palace of Versailles.
"This is where the monarchs of Paris lived when royalty ruled Paris," Elliott said. They also went to the Louvre and saw the Mona Lisa.
"I am impressed that no matter what way you look, the Mona Lisa is looking at you," Elina said. They went to Notre Dame and finally went to the Eiffel Tower.
"So when Gustave Eiffel finished the Eiffel Tower, people thought it was ugly and wanted it to be destroyed?" Elliott asked, looking at the tower.
"Yes, that is true," Lila said as they were walking up the staircase that led to the first floor. They were on the first floor when they heard a maniacal laugh from the top.
"Well, it will stand no more after today because I will steal it!" Felix yelled from above.
"You guys stay down here, and I will deal Felix by myself," Lila told her friends. She stepped into the elevator and traveled to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
"Stop right there, Felix, or I will fight you up here!" Lila commanded.
"Never! In fact, I think I will push you off the Eiffel Tower right now!" Felix replied. He pushed her off the Eiffel Tower, so she held onto the ledge for dear life.
"Now, what do we do?" Elliott asked.
"Well, usually this is the part when Lila comes up with a plan, but she can't really help us at the moment," Elina said.
"So, what do we do without her?" Elliott asked.
"Let's come up with our own plan," Chary said. They thought for a moment.
"Hey, Elliott. How's that weather machine you're working on coming?" Elina asked.
"It's done, and I have it in my pocket right now!" Elliott replied. He pulled out a little red box and pushed a button. Suddenly the box grew larger and was even taller than the Eiffel Tower!
"Why don't you make it rain with your machine?" Chary asked. Elliott nodded, pushed a button that had some raindrops on it, and it began to rain. However, Lila's grip was loosening because the rain was making the ledge she was holding onto slippery.
"It looks like it is raining, and at any moment, you will lose your grip and fall to your doom!" Felix yelled at Lila.
"That rain isn't working. What are we going to do?" Elina asked.
"How about I put it on lightning storm mode?" Elliott asked.
"Okay," Chary replied. Elliott pushed a button with lightning marks on it, and when Felix was letting out his maniacal laugh, a lightning bolt hit him, which made him lose his balance and fell off the Eiffel Tower to his doom!
"Looks like Felix is not at the top of the tower anymore, but Lila is still up there! Turn the machine off, Elliott!" Elina yelled. Elliott pushed the off button, and a little message said that the machine would shut down in 3 minutes.
"Three minutes, are you crazy?" Chary asked after the machine played the message. So as it continued to rain, Lila was losing her grip, and one minute later, she lost her grip and began to fall! When Lila was falling, her friends looked up at her in horror, believing that this may be the end of Lila.
"I can't watch this," Elliott said before he covered his eyes.
"Neither can I," Elina added as she covered her eyes as well.
Suddenly when she was falling, Lila realized that she had a parachute built into her spy outfit, so she grabbed the string and descended more calmly. After she was on the platform, all of her friends cheered and hugged her.
"Lila, you're alive!" Elina yelled.
"You scared me half to death, don't ever do that again," Elliott added.
"I won't, guys, do not worry," Lila replied. To celebrate the defeat of Felix, they went back to their hotel, and all had croissants and macaroons with their beloved dogs, Connie and Patch.
"Wait a second. Lila, what's up with your barrette?" Elliott asked during their snack, noticing the bow-shaped barrette that Lila was wearing.
"Is there a problem with it?" Lila replied as she removed it from her hair and gave it to Elliott. Elliott looked at it and saw something quite unusual in the middle of the bow.
"What is it?" Elina asked.
"It seems as though Felix snuck a tracking device in Lila's barrette so he would be able to follow wherever we went," Elliott replied as he removed a tracking device.
"He must have put it in there when he had me pinned down in Hawaii," Lila realized. Along with that, I brought it along on every single trip of our world tour," Lila added.
"What should we do with it now?" Elina asked.
"Can I destroy it?" Chary suggested.
"Sure can," Lila replied. So they placed it on the ground, and Chary stomped on it.
"Looks like that isn't going to be used anymore," Elliott proclaimed as he picked up the pieces and threw them away.
