After getting back from their Paris adventure and final world tour destination (where their greatest enemy they had defeated Felix), the members of C.E.L.E. were back at home when the news began to play.
"This just in, Lake Superior begins to overflow with unexpected rain!" the person on the news said.
"Where did the rain come from?" Chary asked as she looked out the window to see the rain.
"Well, it wasn't from my weather.....oh no," Elliott said when feeling around in his pocket.
"What do you mean by 'oh no?" Lila asked.
"My weather machine is not in my pocket," Elliott replied with a hint of fear in his voice, thinking of the weather machine he used when they were in Paris.
"Let's check all around the house," Elina declared calmly. So they looked all around the house for about twenty minutes looking for the weather machine.
"You didn't leave it in Paris, did you?" Chary suggested.
"Nope," Elliott replied.
"Let's not worry about it now because we need to see what's going on at Lake Superior," Lila told the others. They grabbed their dogs Connie and Patch and drove to Lake Superior. However, the closer they were to Lake Superior, the harder it was to travel, for there was more and more water.
"It looks like the rain is definitely coming from Lake Superior; the question is...... why?" Chary (who was driving the car) said as she tried hard to look through the window wipers and rain through the window. They finally were at Lake Superior and climbed out of the car with raincoats and umbrellas.
"Elliott, climb up that tree and see what is going on up above," Lila said. One minute later, Elliott was in the tree and saw that the rain wasn't coming from the clouds, it was coming from his weather machine! Elliott quickly climbed down from the tree.
"So, what did you see up there?" Elina asked after he was out of the tree.
"This is no ordinary rain. This rain is from my weather machine!" Elliott yelled.
"If this is from your weather machine, who is controlling it then?" Chary asked.
"I'll check," Lila replied. She climbed up the tree a little higher than Elliott did to see who was controlling the machine. After seeing who it was and gasping, she climbed down the tree.
"I learned who it was, and I think you guys will be surprised," Lila told the others after she came down from the tree.
"Who is controlling my weather machine then?" Elliott asked.
"It's Kiki, another enemy from our childhood!" Lila yelled as the rain was pouring down harder. Everyone else gasped, thinking of the girl that was rude and constantly interrupted their classes throughout their time they attended a regular school.
"What do we do now?" Elina asked.
"Guys, I think it is time to do some acrobats. We're all going to climb up the tree, and Elliott will throw me to where Kiki is, and Elina will throw Chary, so both Chary and I will be with Kiki," Lila explained.
They all climbed up the tree, and Elliott threw Lila up while Elina threw Chary up. Because Kiki was in a helicopter, Chary and Lila grabbed onto the feet of the aircraft and climbed inside.
"Lila Harold? Chary Charles? What are you doing here?" Kiki asked after Chary and Lila climbed into the helicopter.
"Before anything else happens, what are you doing here using something that is rightfully Elliott's?" Chary asked.
"Oh, about my evil plan, I will use the machine that I stole from your colleague, ladies, so that way I can flood Minnesota and take over the world!" Kiki answered
"Well, if you want to take over the world, you are going to need to get through us first," Chary said.
"You need to get through us as well," Elina said, for she and Elliott had just climbed into the helicopter.
"And I demand you to give me back my weather machine because it is rightfully mine!" Elliott demanded.
"Why should I? Maybe I will take you guys out by putting the rain on high!" Kiki yelled. She turned up the power of the machine, and the rain began coming down harder. She then pushed the members of C.E.L.E. out of the helicopter so that they were back outside with the rain coming down super hard.
Luckily all of them had parachutes inside their spy outfits that were inside their spy outfits, so they all pulled the string and fell safely. After getting back on the ground, they climbed back into their car (which was very difficult to do).
"What do we do now?" Chary asked.
"Elliott, do you think you can make a remote control so you can turn off the weather machine even though it's not with you?" Lila asked Elliott.
"I think I can. It will need to take me about ten minutes, though," Elliott replied. So Elliott took out some tools they kept in the car and had a remote control in his hands ten minutes later.
"I'm impressed that you were able to make a remote control in just a few minutes," Chary said to Elliott after he completed the remote. Elliott then pushed the button, and three minutes later, the rain stopped.
"The best part of this remote control is that whoever uses it is the only one that can turn the machine back on," Elliott said happily after the rain had set and they heard a loud 'NO' in the background.
They called the police, and they arrested Kiki. Elliott had his weather machine back, and the members of C.E.L.E. were finally able to relax with their dogs.
