After getting back from their Mexican vacation from the world tour that they won, the members of C.E.L.E. decided that they would go to Brazil next. After packing their bags and 5 or 6 hours of a plane flight (making sure that the plane was on autopilot and not flown by Chary's little sister Lizzy), they finally arrived in Brazil.
They went to the hotel that they made reservations in, which was called the Hotel Ritta Höppner. After getting checked into their hotel (which had posters advertising for the Olympic games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro), they decided to go to one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the Christ the Redeemer, that day.
"According to the pamphlet I bought, the structure Christ the Redeemer is 125 feet tall and was completed in 1931 after about nine years of construction," Lila read. However, as Lila was reading from the pamphlet, ropes started coming down all around the structure!
"What in the world is going on now?" Elina asked as she looked at the ropes that were coming down on the structure. When they looked up, they learned what was going on. Felix had come to Brazil in his helicopter to steal Christ the Redeemer!
"Elliott, try to climb up the structure and make Felix come out of his helicopter!" Lila told Elliott. Elliott grabbed his grappling hook, attached it to some ropes, threw it up to the helicopter, and began to climb up. After he climbed to the top, Felix came out of the aircraft.
"So, you think that you can stop me from stealing Christ the Redeemer? Well, I think you should think again!" Felix said as he was walking forward to Elliott, making him walk backward. However, he didn't know how long the arm went back and accidentally fell off the hand! Luckily, after he fell off, he was able to grab onto the finger.
Felix let out his maniacal laugh, went back into his helicopter, and began to fly off with Christ the Redeemer and Elliott.
"You aren't going to take away Christ the Redeemer or my brother!" Elina yelled up. She grabbed the bottom of Christ the Redeemer that was going up. Lila and Chary joined her as well. When they climbed up to the neck, Lila explained her plan.
"Elina, you save Elliott, Chary, you and I will go into the helicopter so you can distract Felix while I will drive the helicopter back to where Christ the Redeemer usually stands," Lila explained. She and Chary climbed up the head and into the helicopter while Elina, with her arms out, walked down the arm where Elliott was holding on.
Once Chary and Lila were in the helicopter, Chary caused a distraction, so Felix would come and fight her while Lila would go up to the controls and drive the aircraft and Christ the Redeemer back to where it belongs. Unfortunately, Lila was not the best at flying a helicopter, so it was going so fast that Elina and Elliott almost fell off Christ the Redeemer again.
Finally, Lila arrived at where Christ the Redeemer usually stood and placed it back where it stood. Chary and Lila jumped out of the helicopter and, with Elina and Elliott, using Elliott's grappling hook and some rope, climbed down Christ the Redeemer to see many news reporters with microphones and cameras.
"What's going on?" Chary asked.
"You do not know what you did for us?" one of the reporters asked.
"No," Elliott replied.
"Well, you guys just saved Christ the Redeemer from being stolen! How does that feel?" another reporter explained.
"Well, I'll tell you, one of us didn't save Christ the Redeemer; all of us did. Knowing how all of us worked together to save Christ the Redeemer, one of the seven wonders of the world, it just feels great," Lila replied.
"And I wonder how Felix feels about us stopping him from stealing two world-famous monuments in a row now?" Elina asked.
"Who is this Felix?" the first reporter asked.
"He was the guy that tried to steal Christ the Redeemer," Chary replied. After a few more questions, some more people took many pictures of the members of C.E.L.E. and the dogs. They then went back to their hotel room and decided to watch the news. When they turned it on they could not believe it because on the news were the reporters that asked them questions and later showed them!
The next day, they received the morning paper, and the front page said: 'Young Adults Save Christ the Redeemer' and had three of the pictures taken the day before! After they had breakfast, the owner of the hotel they were staying in came up to them, thanked them for saving Christ the Redeemer, and as a reward, allowed them to stay in the hotel for free!
