17 - balcony

VALERIO'S POV:
Love, what a strange feeling.
The best thing that could happen to you and also the worst, weird that these two differences match each other.

Love is like being color blind; You only see bright colors but you don't see the dark ones take over.

That was exactly the case with Jane, soft and sweet at first and suddenly sour and hard.
And here she is, right in front of me. The one and only fucking Jane. The woman who broke my heart into a million pieces.
Exactly the reason I don't get into relationships anymore, just the thought of Jane alone makes me smash a glass on the head.

Suddenly I feel a strong handshake on my wrist, it was Nina.
'' I need to borrow you for a few minutes '' A fierce tone came from her mouth and an urgent look . ''Now'' And she pulled me into another room.

The door closed behind us and she let go of my wrist and crossed her arms.
''What the hell do you think you're doing?!'' Her loud voice burst into my ears and I felt anger welling up in my body.

"What do you mean?" My eyebrow raises.

''Oh please don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about'' .

I looked at Nina even more questioningly. I didn't understand what she meant and what she was trying to tell me.

"I see the way you look at her valerio, full of lust as if you still want her" She stepped closer to me and the furious look didn't leave her eyes. "Sorry to remind you but did you remember how bad she broke you? I know you're stupid but use your brain just this once and don't fall in her trap again."

I don't know if it was the whiskey I just drank but the anger inside me only got worse, nina doesn't know what she's talking about. She does not understand how I feel . ''You know that's not true'' I broke eye contact and looked at the wall to my left with a sigh of disappointment.
"Why do you care at all?" My voice grew louder and I gave nina an angry look.

Her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened as she placed her hand on her heart. "Why do I care?!"
she blinked a few times before speaking. '' I was the one who helped you with the pain she caused ! ''
'' I was the one who had to drag you out of your bed because you could barely stand ''

Her eyes filled with tears but she held them back .
"I was the one who helped you through it all, and now you want to talk to Jane again god you're really stupid."
She shook her head and walked to the door with her back to me.

I felt my hands form into a fist and my jaw tighten.

Her hand gripped the door handle.
She glanced back and hesitated to say anything else.
''Just know that I'm not angry just disappointed, I'm not going to be there for you if you let her break you again'' .

The door closed behind her and she left the room.
Anger took over ''FUCKKK'' and I threw a glass against the wall. It shattered and the floor was filled with pieces of glass.
I felt like I'm about to explode, man I really need to grab a hold. I just need to take a few minutes to myself and calm down.

OLIVIA´S POV:
After Nina rushed over to Valerio I had ordered a drink and was looking around the motel, it was so nicely decorated almost too fancy. I had requested the key to the room where me and nina sleep and opened the door. Wow exactly how I expected it. Black again, of course. With gold accents and a gigantic covered bed. My bags had already been brought here and I decided to just wait here to do something. 20 minutes passed. A long conversation between them apparently, what would it be about?

This made me very impatient and decided to go and see them myself. The heavy black door opened and I looked left and right for people in the hall.

The floor creaked softly.
I held my breath, someone was there.

A hand wrapped around my hips and dragged me into a room.
The door slammed shut and I was pinned against the door with my back.

The moss green eyes looked at me, his mouth forming an evil grin.

''Jesus Christ! you scared me !''
His hands were still clenched around my hips.

He laughed out loud and dimples formed in his cheeks.
Ugh why is he so damn handsome.

My arms crossed and I looked irritated. ''What do you want?''

''Wow miss Fernandez calm down I just wanted to see you''.
His hands slid up, his big hands gently slid down my neck and tucked a few strips of hair behind my ear. My breath quickened and I almost melted when
I looked into his eyes, they were green. Green like a forest, a forest full of trees and plants. I admired his face. All his facial features were sharp,
sharp jaw, sharp eyebrows. Oh shit I've been staring at him for way too long, fuck he probably got me.

I cleared my throat. "No I'm serious, what do you really want?"

His hand still gently stroked my jaw, forcing me to look up because he is so tall.
He licked his lips and looked at me with lust. '' I want you, you Olivia Fernandez''.

Wait what? oh my god i love how my name slipped off his tongue.
But what did he just say? Me?

"E-Ehm we probably shouldn't be doing this Valer-" Before I could even finish my sentence, he pressed his lips against mine.

Oh God.

I placed my hand on his chest and the other on his face. My tongue slipped past his.

Jeez he is seriously the best kisser I know .
I didn't want to stop kissing him, why does he have to be so addictive? The kiss stopped after a while.

I felt my cheeks turn red. ''You have lipstick on your face'' I rubbed my thumb over his mouth and cheek to remove the red spot.

He grinned. ''Come to the balcony at 8'' His deep voice whispered in my ear.

My eyebrows furrowed. "Why?"

"I need to discuss some things with you about our fathers."

I don't know what was going on between us but he's been stuck in my head since the day I met him. I was hoping deep down that he wanted to talk about us but no, of course it's about our fathers.

''Just meet me there'' He kissed my forehead and walked out of the room.

I had goosebumps all over my body .
Minutes passed and I tried to keep my cool, but this kiss left electricity in my body.

The door opened with a bang. It was Nina.
''Oh my god so there you are'' She gave me a hug and tried to catch my breath between her words. '' I've been looking for you everywhere '' .

"Oh sorry I didn't know you were looking for me, where were you ?" I asked.

Her look changed to an angry one.
''I had a discussion with Valerio'' Her eyes rolled back in annoyance and she placed herself on a couch in the room.
"God he´s such a dick!" She put her hands over her face in frustration.

I laughed out loud and sat down next to her. "Yeah no shit, but why?"

"Just this whole thing with Jane it makes me so mad, anyways enough about that what time is it?" she looked at me.

I looked at my phone. ''It's almost eight''
Oh shit, i need to meet with valerio on the balcony......
