Ch. 37- Lets Get Going

I zone out for a few minutes. I'm reading his aura. Well, trying to. He's moving around to much.

"Be still."

Much better.

Kinda faded but green. Very beautiful. I like the way it bends with the light.

"What are you doing? Earlier you wouldn't talk to me and not your just staring at me." I see his point. He has a right to know what's going on. But I'm still mad at him, kinda.

"I'm reading."

"What are you reading?"

"I'm reading you. Your aura."

"My what?"

"Energy field around the body. Probably never heard of it cause your a Jew. No offense."

"Can't take offense to something I don't understand."

"Do you want to know?"

"I want to know what's up."

"I told you." I cringe. No I didn't.

"You told me what. Not why."

"I have my reasons." Now I'm just being stubborn. I'm better than this.

Dan sighs. "Can you tell me about the plants then?"

The plants are everywhere. And I mean everywhere inside. Even if there's only a few in other rooms I make up for them in my room.

"There alive. They think, they plan, they bloom. It's quite beautiful if you ask me. They know something I don't. And I want I know what it is. What makes them tick. I know photosynthesis, and all that other crap but HOW? I probably sound crazy but that's what everyone is. Everyone is crazy. Maybe that's why I want to know so much. Maybe it will make me less crazy." I sigh. That's to much. "I think it's time to go inside."

Dan glances at his watch and nods. Then he stands up and gets out of my sunflower hut.

"This was... Interesting." He chooses his words carefully. "Maybe we can do it again sometime."

"That might be nice."

Everyone is really confused when I walk in with Dan like nothing has happened. Dan looks a little confused but who wouldn't be. "Barry mall time! We're picking up Suze so text Ross." I shout down the hall.

"I'm ready. I so wanna see him do the rest of the bet." Barry practically bounces down the hall.

"Hehe. Alright lets get going. We're dropping Dan off at Arin and Suzy's so they can grump is that ok?"

"Yea if its ok with you."

"Lets go."

"I wanna come!" It's Kaitlynn, who runs up behind me and tosses her arms around me.

"Me to!" Kit says.

Everyone soon joins in and I wait for them to quiet down. "You guys can take Lauren's car if you want. I don't want to flake on your stay but there is something we need to do." Even if I don't exactly know what it is right now. My friends bid in understanding and some in suggestion.

"Guys were don't fuck! Get your minds out of the gutter!"

"We'll actually I wouldn't mind that." Dan says.

"You give me an answer at the end of the week if you want me or not. Until then shut the fuck up." I don't say it meanly but Dan looks a bit hurt.

"Ooh you got burned!" Ben says. My other friends make air horn sounds with their mouths.

"Oh shut up." Dan waves them off lazily.

"Alright lets go. Move you big lumps." I shove the two men out the door and everyone follows behind me. "You guys go strait to the mall. The location of where they live can. Kit be given to the Internet... BEN."

"It was only once! On accident!" He says in defense.

"Do you know how many creepers there was at my house?! I couldn't sleep for a week I was so afraid that one would break the window and try to get in or something!"

"Whatever." Ben mumbles getting into Lauren's car.
