Ch. 58-Taking It Off

((Y/N)'s POV)

I check the time, almost 10 at night. I close my eyes on the couch in the living room and sigh. I think of Northern Downpour, a song by Panic! At the Disco.

"If all our life is but a dream

Fantastic posing greed

Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea

For diamonds do appear to be

Just like broken glass to me." I sing to myself. The song calms me and I continue. "Hey moon please forget to fall down

Hey moon don't you go down

Sugar canes in the easy morning

Weather vanes my one and lonely."

"You have a nice voice. Why don't you sing more often?" Dan asks.

"You don't know how often I sing when I'm alone."

"I might just have to spy on you to hear that lovely voice then." He teases.

"Don't even think about it." I say.

"I won't. Hey, you must be really tired if your passing out in the Game Room, do you want to come over to my place and we can take a nap or something?"

"I guess. I just really want to cuddles." I sigh with my eyes closed. Dan tries to lift me in his arms but I get up myself. "Thanks for letting me pop up for a little while Arin." I say. Then I give him a hug and turn to Ross. "Your really comfy to sleep on." I tell him.

"Am I now?" He asks. He gives me a hug and I look for Suzy. I have to thank her for the soup. I find her petting Mochi on the floor.

"Hey Moch. Thanks for the soup Suzy. I'm going to take a nap over at Danny's place." I give Mochi a few pets and Suzy a hug. Then, seeing as Barry and Kevin went home, I walk over to Dan. "Alright, nap time." I yawn, I'm still really tired. Dan wraps his arm around me and leads me to the passenger side door. He opens it for me and I step in. He then walks back to the drivers side and gets in himself. He quietly hums Def Leopard while keeping his eyes on the road. My eyes are closed and I'm listening to the music Dan is making. The car stops and I get out of his car and walk up to the front door.

"Barry is probably in his room doing editor things. He never takes a break." Dan says while letting us in. I nod and walk myself to Dan's room while Danny gets himself a drink. I cuddle up into his blankets and suddenly feel more awake. I sit up as Dan walks in.

"Hey do you want to watch tv or something? I just got a wave of energy." He smiles and leads me back downstairs. I take a few of his blankets with me and Dan turns on the tv. We sit on the couch together, both engulfed by blankets.

"Do you want to watch Kill La Kill?" Dan asks.

"Almost naked people fighting? Fuck yea!" I laugh. Dan laughs too and turns on the first episode.

"Do you mind if we start from the beginning?"

"Nah, I haven't seen this in a while." I say. Dan smiles and I curl up into his arms. I'm really hot in my jacket but I really want to stay under these blankets. I decide to surprise Dan. I'm sure he deserves it. "Hold up." I say.

"What is it?" Danny asks.

I reach under the blankets and unzip my jacket. Then I shrug it off my shoulders and lay it down on the couch.

"I was hot but I wanted to keep snuggling." I say. Dan looks at my face and smiles. I expect him to look at my body, now that it's exposed, but he turns his attention to the screen.

"I love you." He sighs, contently.

I feel his arms snake around my waist and smile. "I love you too, Dan." Then I give him a peck on the cheek. He returns the favor and we both turn back to the show on screen.
