Ch. 15- To Lonely

"Now that that's out of the way can someone PLEASE take be home? My room mate is going to kill me."
"Your still in pa-"
"I don't care I can change at my house and give them to Dan to take back." You say cutting Ross off.
Everyone is in the Grump Room with Arin and Barry playing some Glover. Everyone is cramped onto the couch. Arin Suzy Barry and Ross squeezed onto the actual sitting part and Dan sitting on the arm with you on his lap. Running his fingers through your hair you realize how long you've been here. Dan is delicately turning you tangled mess of hair into a somewhat good ponytail.
"Yea I'll get Arin's keys and we can go in a minute." Dan says putting his head on your shoulder. You hop up and wait for Dan.
"Thank you guys so much." You say to the remaining Grumps in the room.
"Oh it's nothing." Suzy says. "Here before you go let me put all our numbers in your phone."
You hand over your phone and wait while Suzy puts in the 5 new contacts. "I gave them all silly names you you have to decode them." She smiles.
"Ok." You smile back.
"Oh and you can come over any time. You don't even have to text us first ok?"
"Well maybe if its late over here if ya know what I mean." Arin says devilishly and sneaks in a kiss with Suzy.
"Get a room guys." Ross says pretending to puke.
"We already do though." Arin says smiling at his wife.
By that time Dan comes back. "It's time to go my lady." He says bowing and taking your hand. He leads you out to the car you came in and opens your door for you. You step into shotgun and buckle up. A second later Dan follows suit and puts the key in ignition. The car roars to life and suddenly your sad that you have to go.
"Alright where am I heading?" Dan asks pulling out of the driveway. You tell him your address and he turns on the radio. "So is Bittersweet by Panic! At The Disco out theme now?" He asks.
"We're not even dating yet." You say laughing.
"We could be. If we were would that be our theme song?" He asks.
"But hidden meanings and other crap." You whine. "Why do we need a theme if we're not dating anyway?"
"I don't know." He says. "I go down this road right?"
"Yea." Your heart breaks a bit now that your not surrounded by your new friends.
"Are you sad that we left?" Dan asks pulling into your driveway. You open out door and lead him inside using a spare key you keep under the mat.
"Maybe. And don't worry my room mate is at work you don't have to hang outside."
"You know I can take you to my house and that way you could be closer for a while until your ready to stay here again." Dan suggests playing with his fingers.
"It's a nice offer but I think I'm fine." You say leading him to your room. You go through you closet and pick out a pair of jeans and a nice short sleeved shirt and a jacket. You also get a new set of under where and a bra to put on. "You walk around while I put these on. Feel free to eat anything. I have some Skittles on top if the fridge." You say shooing him out of your room.
You change quickly and dash back out to Dan. You put the kitten PJ's that Suzy lent you in a plastic bag and eat a handful of Skittles that Dan got from on top of the fridge like you told him. "Alright lets go." You say.
"I though you were staying here." Dan says confused.
"I just really wanted to change. Do you mind if we go to your house? We can just go back to Arin and Suzy's if you want though." The thought of being away from them for a day or to with no one while Lauren is at collage for a few months is like a punch in the gut.
"My house it is. Let me text Brian and he can come over and meet you."
"You mean like Ninja Brian?"
"Yea. He's a particle physicist." Dan says typing on his phone. It pings and he turns back to you. "He says he's bringing Ninja Audrey with him."
"Alright back to the car!" You say excitedly.
"I'm telling Arin that I'm going to keep his car for a while." Dan says and texts someone else. "Alright now we can go."
