Ch. 45-Here's What Happened

"Hey were back!" I shout stepping inside. I'm quickly gagged and brought back outside. I wiggle out of my captors grasp and glare. It was Kit, of course.

"Look inside the car but be quiet." She smiles at me. I roll my eyes and look inside Lauren's car. Ben is sitting in the middle seat playing in his phone and Lauren is asleep on top of him. I wave to Ben and pull out my phone. I snap a few pictures and send them to my family, they always loved Lauren. I open up the car door and grin evilly.

"Lauren it's the zombie apocalypse!" I scream while shaking Lauren. At once she gets up and starts running around like an idiot.

"Where's the zombies? Did they get Ben?" I smile.

While Lauren is distracted I turn to Ben. "You should totally ask her out again. It would be adorable."

Ben flips me off. "We were laying together. What the heck?"

"I can't resist, marshmallow." I laugh to Lauren I say, "Bro lets go inside. I'll show you my new jacket."

We walk inside and I walk into a closet. No one can see me without a jacket. "I'm changing in here... And by that I mean switching jackets. Just don come in please!" I unzip the zipper and strip off my Helix jacket in favor of my new one. Before I can zip it up though the door swings open.

"Raa!" Dan yells. He picks my up and runs over to the couch.

"Dan you douche! Let me zip up my jacket!"

"Not until I see what's underneath!" He tries to hold me to the couch, with minimal results.

"I will call rape on you Dan. Let me go."

"What if I don't?"

"RA-" Dan covers my mouth with his hand.

"Please can I see you at lease with your jacket unzipped?" He pleads, while slowly removing his hand.

"No! I refuse. And if you don't let me go I'll-"

"What can you do to me that I won't like?"

"I can hurt you."

"Can you?" He smirks. "Cause I think my feelings are hurt enough."

I finally squirm out from under him and turn away to zip up my jacket. That's much better.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"It means my answer is yes, I can't stand to have you ignore me, will you... Uh can you...?" He gets flustered and trails off.

"Will I go on a date with you?" I ask, daring to step closer.

He steps closer as well, we are only a few feet apart. "Would you do that for me?"

"Yo I think it's time to head over to- woah did I step in on something?" Arin says.

"Oh, uh, no! No, no, it's ok, there was nothing happening." I say, stepping away from Dan.

He steps closer again and smiles. "Maybe."

"God, I hate you sometimes."

"Get some!" I hear shouted down the hall. Probably Barry.

"Alright, lets go." I say, double checking my zipper.

"On the ride will someone tell me what happened with roof jumping?" Arin asks. practically shoving us out the door.

"I will, I will." I sigh.

We get back into the car and I allow Dan to slide into the drivers side. I'm not their designated driver.

"Alright so as you know Dan is super jealous of Emit-"

"That is not a thing!" Dan retorts.

"See? Well after you left we stayed up for a little bit and then everyone felt like going to sleep. So I showed the guys their room, Danny stole me and took me to my room, and I agreed to sleep in the same bed cause everyone else was already using the guest beds. He tried to seduce me, with one of my own roses by the way, and I said nah so we fell asleep. I couldn't fall asleep ad Dan was smothering me with his heater body so I got up to make some hot coco. Barry and Emit we're up so I went to sit with them and watch a show about aliens. Me and Emit we're snuggling cause we do that and Barry said that the probable reason Dan was so jealous was because were so close. I was about to talk smack when Dan emerged from the shadows and asked about what I was going to say. I blew up, cause I found it ridiculous that he would be so jealous, and stormed off. I went for a walk around my complex and found my way to my roof. Then I thought that my life was a dream and I took a leap of faith into my pool." I smile like its nothing.

"How are you so fucking chill about it?" Arin asks.

"Another story for another time."
