Ch. 30-Friends

I sigh. Come on did we all have to come. I just wanted to welcome my friends and maybe tell them that I didn't know the Game Grumps but something tells me that if all of them are trailing behind me that won't work. You can't tell but that was sarcasm. It's not that I don't like my friends just I hate surprises.

"On a scale of 1 to 10 how fan girl are they?" It's Dan from the back seat.

"Well like a 5 but there's a guy that might be there... You don't wanna meet him." Not for the reason you might think.

"Mmmm. And said guys name and status?" Is Dan jealous?

"Oh, Emit? Uhhh... He's a bro." My voice cracks a little and I curse my inability to lie.

"That's bullshit." It's Barry sitting shotgun smiling like an idiot.

"Nah, he's just a bro." I try to push it off but the guys aren't buying it.

"Bull. Shit. Tell me who he is." Dan says, smiling but pushing his point.

"Is the amazing Sexbang jealous? Does he feel threatened by a potential male?" I tease.

"I'm not jealous! But he will be..." He whispers the last part thinking I won't hear.

"Oh my God! Dan is jealous! Well don't let me intimidate you but there's another guys who will definitely be there. Mmmm we hung out for a long time back in my old town." My voice becomes velvet. "I think he had a thing for me."

"SHUT UP!" Dan bellows and I smile, stifling a laugh.

"Mm, looks like someone is jealous!" Ross teases.

"GOD DAMN IT ROSS SHUT THE FUCK UP CROSS DRESSER!" Dan crosses his arms and pouts.

"Damn Dan just fuckin take her and you won't have to be jealous." Arin says waving his arms about.

"Maybe I will!" Dan is still upset, but calming down. It made me laugh that I could work him up that much.

"Or you could murder him but you know laws first. I wouldn't tell if you killed a guy, Dan."

"Maybe I will." Dan repeats.

"Well let's see if Em is even here." I pull into my driveway and park next to the other two cars. Did all of them pile into Kits car?

"He's got a cute nickname it just keeps getting better and better." Dan mumbles stepping out of my car.

"Oh fuck off Dan. Stop being so jelly." I tease, unlocking the door. Before I can finish though the door swings open and in the frame is Lauren. Her eyes sparkle and she hops a little.

"Oh my God! Kit got everyone here come say hi!" She leads us into the living room where everyone is sitting on the couch. There watching cartoons, we never really grew up.

"Awe sweet! Guys how did you know I still watched Pokémon?" I run up and fling myself next to a figure on the couch. It just happens to be Emit and I smile. I hug him sideways. "Dude I haven't seen you in forever!" I squeeze him and pull him up in a full hug. We sway together and I breath in Emits scent. He always smelled like flowers to me. And honey. Mmmm.

"Hey! We're here to! Do we get hugs?" It's Ben sitting on the floor.

"No you don't Ben. You got Lauren. You are unavailable for life now." I tease releasing Emit hesitantly.

"I've been single sense like 10th grade! Come on we're adults!"

"I will always believe boys have cooties! Don't touch me with your cootie hands!" I run and hide behind Dan obviously being counter productive. Dan though pulls me into himself and holds me, leaning down to nuzzle my neck. "Dan let go of me! We went over this!" I whine.

"Never." He whispers so the others don't hear. "I'm so jealous."

"Dan your so hot. Let me go so I can take of my jacket." I wiggle out of his grasp and take off my first jacket. Yes I had two jackets on. Then I hug everyone in turn. Emit holds his arms open for another hug and I run into his grasp. I hear Dan hiss but I don't care. My friends are back and I love them. Even if it was a surprise that they came.
