GEORGE POV:

George is running around like a madman, trying to pack all necessities for Luna while also packing his own things. He promised he'd pick Rosie up and that he'd drive to the airport, but he's getting overwhelmed, and he's on the verge of tears. "Where did I put those bottles? God I can't do this, I have no idea what I'm doing" he says to himself while trying to reach his mom, before realising that she can't pick up since she's on the plane herself. His parents were ecstatic when George told them that Rosie and Luna would join for the US GP and decided that they could take a little trip themselves if Luna was safe. He grunts while staring at his phone screen, he remembers Rosie telling him that if he's getting overwhelmed, he should just call her. He looks around the mess he created and realises that he does need her help. She picks up after the first ring, and after he tells her that he has no clue what he's doing she tells him to wait 15 minutes.

"Hi George, hey little girl!" Rosie says while walking into George's home. She sets her suitcase down before kissing Luna on her head and pecking him on his lips. "What happened? Have you been crying?" she asks with a concerned look on her face, and he shrugs, "I just, I got so overwhelmed. What if I don't bring enough? Or I forget something really important?" Rosie nods, placing her hand on his arm and looking him in the eyes, "babe, it's okay. I'm glad you called me, let's make a list and get everything then? They have shops in America too, so if we really forget something I'll go and get it. It's going to be okay, alright?" he sighs before nodding, and follows her with Luna on his hip.

An hour later they're packed and in the car. Luna is brabbling in the back while Rosie is chatting with her, as far as that's possible. George looks into his rear-view mirror and smiles at the sight; it warms his heart to see Luna so happy with Rosie. He tries not to freak out at the thought of going on the plane with a baby. He read some articles about how to keep your child sane on the flight, but as with everything, every child is different and there is not one thing that is universal and successful. He sighs while steering the car into the underground parking of the airport. He feels Rosie squeeze his arm and he looks over his shoulder after turning the car off, "it's going to be okay George. We're in this together, remember?" she says, and he nods while trying to calm his heart. We're in this together.

ROSIE POV:

Luna did quite well on the flight, she slept, she drank, she ate, she cried a bit, she played with George's fingers, she fuzzed when she wasn't allowed to crawl through the plane and then she slept some more. Overall, a rather successful happening, which made George sigh out in relief when they finally got out of the airport and into the car that was waiting for them. They sit in the back with the three of them, and George squeezes Rosie's shoulder while looking at Luna who's in between them. "I'm so happy that you're here, I'm really excited to show you around. We're going to the track immediately now, do you want to come with, or should we drop you both off at the hotel? I'm just going to be catching up with the team, so it won't be exciting."

She thinks for a moment before responding, "if you could drop us off? I'd like to unpack and get Luna's bag ready for tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'll be too tired to do that later tonight. Luna should have some rest too, there's so much happening for her right now. She might get too overwhelmed, don't you think?" George nods, asking the driver to drop her and Luna at the hotel.

Luna is crawling around the luxe room while Rosie unpacks and makes sure that the things, she needs for Luna are on a specific spot, so she won't lose them. She looks at Luna when she hears her giggles of happiness, and she chuckles when the little girl found a shirt from George that fell out of the suitcase. "Are you missing daddy already? He'll be back soon, he just texted me" she says while stroking Luna over her head. "You were such a good girl on the plane, I'm really proud of you."
