GEORGE POV:
George is humming a tune while he packs his bags for the valentines/birthday mid-week he planned for Rosie and himself. They're going to Sevilla for a few days, he found a nice house for the two of them and he couldn't wait to explore the city with Rosie. He packs some extra sweaters to be sure, even though the weather forecast shows a pleasant temperature. He looks in his closet, wondering where his new pair of dress pants are. "I swear I saw them here last week; I can't show up to our valentines dinner without them" he mutters, sighing in annoyance when he really can't find them. Rosie is out with Luna and Tayla, catching up with her friend and buying some new clothes for Luna since she had grown out of a lot again, so he doesn't want to call her now. He walks towards the other side of the closet, shaking his head when he sees his pants neatly folded.
"Always putting my stuff away at the wrong place" he mumbles, shaking his head with a small smile when he realises what he's saying. His dad always used to grumble about this when his mom would put his stuff away for him, and now George is doing the same thing with Rosie. 'I am a lucky guy to be grumbling about nonsense like this' he muses to himself before putting the pants into his suitcase. He gets dressed into his training clothes after checking three times that he really has everything he needs, texting Rosie that he's meeting Aleix before making his way out into the cold.
"Are you and Rosie doing something special for valentines this year? Last year you went to Yorkshire, right?" Aleix asks, nodding while George grunts while he trains his neck. "Y-yes, we're going to S-Sevilla this time" he groans, sighing out of relief when Aleix lets him go. "Oh, that's going to be amazing! The weather is decent there in February" Aleix says, passing George his water bottle while he also drinks a bit before moving towards the bench press. "Yeah, that's why I picked it. Rosie has been feeling a bit low on energy the last few weeks, so I figured some sunshine might do her good" George says, rolling his eyes when Aleix makes a 'chop, chop' sound while pointing at the bench. "Yeah, yeah, I'm coming."
Two hours later he's on his way home, tired but satisfied with the training he's done today. He always trains a little while he's away, but Aleix won't be joining him on this trip, so he has to do it all himself. He smiles when he sees the soft glow of the lights at home shining through the windows, meaning his girls are home again. "Hey sweethearts, hi Tayla" he says while walking into the living room, smiling when he sees Rosie sitting at the dining table with Luna and Tayla. "Daddy!" Luna squeals, wiggling in her seat while George walks towards her. "Hey Lunes, how was your day with mommy and aunty Tayla?" he asks, kissing her on her head while stroking her hair. "Good, I got a dwess" she says happily, grabbing another piece of pasta to shove into her mouth. "Darling" George chuckles, shaking his head at his daughter before moving towards Rosie.
"Hello love" he mumbles against her neck while he leans over her, kissing her shoulder while rubbing her arms. "Hey" Rosie breaths, leaning against his chest a little before telling him that she and Tayla waited with dinner until he was home. "Alright, I'll take a quick shower and then we can eat?" he asks, humming when Rosie and Tayla agree. "I'll be back in 10" he says, kissing Rosie's hair before making his way towards the bathroom. He emerges a little later, now wearing a pair of grey sweats with a dark green jumper, smiling when he smells his favourite dish. He sits down next to Luna who's staring at Tayla who is cutting up some fruit for her. "How was it in the centre today?" George asks Tayla, chatting with her before he helps Rosie with putting the food on the table. "Well, bon appetite!" he says happily, thanking Rosie for making dinner before they all dig in.
ROSIE POV:
Rosie looks around her closet while packing her suitcase now that George is away to the factory for the last day. They're leaving tomorrow morning, so she's incredibly on time with her packing. Not. "Mommy!" Luna shouts from her bedroom, and Rosie sighs slightly before making her way to her. "Yes, sweetie?" she asks, chuckling when Luna wobbles towards her to throw her arms around her leg. "Luna wanna help mommy" she says, reaching her arms up so Rosie picks her up. "You want to help mommy with packing?" Rosie asks, humming when Luna nods excitedly. "Okay, you can help mommy and then we'll get the guest room ready for grandpa and grandma, alright?" she says, putting Luna on her hip while walking back into the bedroom.
