GEORGE POV:

George answers Rosie's facetime call while falling down on the matrass of his hotel bed. He smiles when he sees Luna's face on the screen with Rosie behind her. "Hello, my beautiful ladies" he says, and Luna squeals happily before babbling to him. "Really Lunes, that's so exciting that you went to the playground with Rosie yesterday!" he talks to Luna before she's not interested anymore, and he watches how Rosie puts her down on the ground so she can play. "Hey love" George says shyly, and Rosie smiles at him, "hey babe, how was the trip? You must be tired."

He nods while yawning, "yeah I'm going to sleep before it's time for the media. Just wanted to see your faces before that. How is Lunes behaving?" Rosie tells him how Luna woke up quite early and a bit moody, but that she's happier now. "She probably needed a bit longer to wake up. Go to sleep now love, we'll talk again later." He nods, telling her he'll try to call around 10/11PM (4/5PM Mexico time) and she agrees before blowing a kiss through the screen. He falls asleep with a smile on his face.

Media day was tiring but it was alright. Toto told him that people were curious about the woman that was with Luna at the last race, and George agreed that he'd talk about that after the race if anyone had questions. He wanted to focus on the race before focussing on his personal life. He facetimed with Rosie for 30 minutes since it was really late there, before having dinner with the team.

Practices went alright on Friday, the car felt good, and George was content with the results. He spent the evening with meetings, before eating with the team and playing a few games with Lando and Alex. He qualified pole on Saturday, texting Rosie happily when he got out of the car. She had been sending him video's and photos of Luna, making sure to keep him updated while he was away. She had started with making short video's during dinner where she told George what they had been up to that day, before putting Luna in front of the camera while she was eating. He watched those before going to sleep, enjoying the giggles of his daughter and the little squeals she let out when Rosie asked her something.

George managed to keep his P1 the entire race, the team effort was amazing, and he was elated after the race. "Guys! Wow! What a race" he says through the radio, "you guys are fucking amazing! We did that! Thank you all!!" he laughs when he hears the excited shouts from the team through his headphones before parking the car at the P1, jumping out of it and into the group of team members. He's all smiles during the podium ceremony, even though he misses two certain girls in the crowd of people.

He's doing an interview when the journalist asks about the woman that joined him with his daughter last race. "Yeah, she's wonderful. She has helped me a lot with my daughter and I'm really thankful for her. That's all I'll say about it. Cheers mate." He says before nodding and walking towards another reporter. After all the interviews and meetings, he walks towards his car to go to the airport. His bags were already packed as he always leaves as soon as he can. It'll be a tiring flight, but he'll be coming home to his daughter and Rosie.

He arrives in London in the middle of the night, tiredly driving back home. He leaves his bags downstairs before silently walking up the stairs. He goes into Luna's room first, pressing a kiss on her head and stroking her hair. She sighs and George smiles, "I'm home again sweetheart" before walking towards the bedroom pulling some fresh clothes out and slipping into the bathroom. He takes a quick shower before putting his sleep clothes on, softly walking towards the bedroom, and crawling into bed. Rosie turns around in her sleep, cuddling closer to his warm body when he wraps his arms around her. "I'm home" he mumbles, and she hums before they fall asleep holding each other.

ROSIE POV:

Rosie wakes up in George's arms, and she smiles while snuggling closer to him. He hums while she strokes his arm, shifting a little so she can lay her head on his chest, and he can wrap his arm around her. "Good morning love" he mumbles before pressing a kiss on her hair. "Good morning, I'm happy you're home safe" she whispers, and he nods. They lay like that until Luna starts babbling. "I'll grab her, let's stay in bed with the three of us for a bit" George says blushing slightly, and Rosie nods while smiling at him.

A little while later they lay in bed with Luna in the middle, chatting softly while enjoying the lazy morning. "I've always wanted to do this" George says suddenly, and Rosie looks at him while stroking Luna's hair. "Do what?" she asks, giggling when Luna tries to grab her fingers. "Lay like this in bed, just chatting, enjoying the morning laziness" she nods while squeezing his hand. They chill in bed until Luna gets fuzzy for food.

After they all had breakfast and got ready, George asks if Rosie would like to stay another day. She nods, "I don't have plans, so I'd love to. The weather is pretty great, maybe we can put Luna's toys and mat outside and enjoy the sunshine?" George agrees, putting Luna's things in the garden while looking for the pillows of the lounge set. They spend the entire afternoon in the sun, Luna under an umbrella so she won't overheat.

Rosie looks up from her novel when George sighs for the 5th time in 10 minutes. "What's wrong?" she asks, closing it and moving closer to him on the couch. Luna is taking a nap under the umbrella with the F1 car toy in her hand, and Rosie smiles at the sight. George clears his throat, "I don't know if you saw the post-race interviews?" Rosie shakes her head as an answer, stroking George's hand while waiting for him to continue. "Uhm, well, I was asked who the woman was who had my daughter on her hip the whole race weekend," Rosie hums, "and I didn't really know what to answer them" he says softly.

"I knew what I wanted to answer, but I couldn't say that" he says vaguely, and she looks at him confused. "I don't get it..." George sighs, rubbing his hands over his face before shifting and looking Rosie in the eyes. "I wanted to tell them that you are my girlfriend, but I couldn't because I haven't asked you to be mine yet," she's about to answer when George puts his hand up, "wait, please let me do this the right way." She nods while smiling, squeezing his hand while he takes a deep breath.

"I-I'm so nervous" he chuckles before continuing, "after our night together in America I wanted to tell you something, but I was scared and just said that I-I like you, do you remember that?" she nods, and he swallows, "I actually wanted to tell you something else" he takes a deep breath, "I'm falling in love with you. Really deep, if I'm being honest" his hands shake slightly while Rosie looks at him with so much love in her eyes. She strokes his hands, and he smiles nervously. "I'm falling in love with you too George" she says softly, and George's eyes widen before he smiles widely.

George wraps his arms around her, pulling her onto his lap so he can hold her tightly. "That makes me s-so happy" he says, and she giggles before holding his face in her hands. She kisses him softly, and he sighs contently before resting his forehead on hers. "You make me so incredibly happy George, I can't put into words how happy" she says, and he closes his eyes while letting go off a shaky breath. "This is quite scary to me, since, well, you know why" he says, and Rosie hums. "I know, but I'm not planning on running away from you or Luna. I can imagine how though it must be, but I hope you'll trust me after the last few months. I'm serious about you... both of you" she whispers, and George smiles with tears in his eyes.

Rosie wipes them away before kissing him softly. "T-that leaves me with one question though," George says, and she giggles while nodding. He takes her hands in his and looks at her, "dear Rosie, would you like to be my girlfriend?" she smiles with stars in her eyes while nodding, "I would love that more than anything." He mirrors her smile before holding her face in his hands, pressing a loving kiss on her lips before wrapping her in his arms.

Rosie sighs contently, this is exactly where she feels like she's home.
