A YEAR LATER

Rosie looks at Luna while she's feeding Beau. Around her people are running around, fumbling with her hair, and chatting to each other about the things that still need to be done. Rosie smiles down at Beau who grabs her shirt tighter in his fist, humming contently while he's drinking. "Are you enjoying it?" she whispers, caressing his dark brown hair, "I'm happy you wanted to drink now, just in time before mommy has to go in her wedding dress." Luna climbs on the chair, sitting on Rosie's lap before leaning against her shoulder and caressing Beau's hair. "Mommy?" she asks, and Rosie hums, looking at her with a smile. "I want a dress like you when I'm older" Luna points at Rosie's wedding dress before looking at Rosie again with hopeful eyes. "Okay, mommy will remember that for you bijou" she answers, caressing Luna's braided hair before pressing a kiss on her forehead.

"Okay, are you guys ready?" Rosie asks, chuckling when she hears excited cheers from the girls in the dressing room. The only ones who have seen her in her wedding dress are her mom and George's mom; she wanted to choose without too many other opinions because it overwhelms her when there are a lot. She takes one last look in the mirror, smiling at her reflection before stepping away from the curtains into the dressing room where the women are waiting. Gasps are heard, before she sees them all trying to keep their tears in. "Oh, you look beautiful" Tayla whispers, looking at her with a hand in front of her mouth. Luna stares at her with wide eyes before jumping on the ground and running towards Rosie. "Can I touch?" she asks, pointing at the small glistering beads that are sewn across the dress. "Of course you can bijou" she answers, smiling as Luna's fingers move over the dress with adoration in her eyes.

"You are beautiful mommy" she says, hugging Rosie's leg who caresses her face. "Thank you baby, I'm happy you like the dress" she answers, and Luna nods excitedly, "I love it mommy." Rosie smiles and wipes the tears away after everyone is done hugging her and gushing about how beautiful she looks. "I'm a little nervous now" she chuckles, looking at herself in the mirror while Luna stands next to her in her dress. "I have the rings, don't be newves" she says, holding the box up proudly. "Oh, then I don't have to be nervous anymore, thank you love" Rosie says, looking at her mom and George's mom with anxious eyes. "Rosie, there's nothing to be nervous about. If it makes you feel any better, Steve just texted me that George can't stop rambling about nonsense because he's freaking out" Alison says, chuckling when Rosie lets out a giggle. She looks up when there's a knock on the door before her dad, Julien, walks in.

"Oh, ma belle fille" he says, putting his hand in front of his mouth while he lets out a choked sob. Her mother wraps her arms around him, stroking his back while they look at Rosie with smiles and tears in their eyes. "You look so beautiful, Rosie. Magnifique" he says, walking towards her before wrapping his arms around her and kissing her on her cheeks. "I can't believe you're getting married. I'm so excited for the two of you" he whispers, stroking her cheeks when she lets out a little sob.

She looks up when the girls start getting ready to walk out first, pressing kisses on Rosie's cheek before they make their way out. Luna and Alison walk out holding hands, before her mother, Amelie, walks out with Beau in her arms. Rosie takes a deep breath, looking at her reflection in the mirror before putting her hand in her father's outstretched hand. "Are you ready ma chérie?" Julien asks, smiling when Rosie nods. "Then let me walk you towards your very soon to be husband."

Rosie smiles nervously while she walks into the room, her eyes finding George's wide ones immediately. He lets out a choked sob when his eyes travel over her dress-clad figure, putting his head in his hands before quickly taking them away again so he can see every movement she makes. She wipes her tears away before her dad puts her hands in George's, kissing her cheek before patting George on his shoulder. "She's yours now, take care of her" he whispers, smiling at George with tears in his eyes before he takes a seat next to Amelie, putting Beau on his lap immediately. "Y-you look breath-taking" George whispers, smiling at her nervously while the official starts talking. "You look so handsome" she whispers back, squeezing his hand while she looks into his bright blue eyes.

George smiles at Rosie while they sway along to the music slowly, the world around them slowly fading away while they look into each other's eyes. "I love you so much" he whispers, leaning down to rest his forehead against hers. She smiles, closing her eyes before whispering that she loves him so much too. "I can't believe that I married the girl who helped me grocery shop when Luna was just a few months old" he says, his voice cracking a little when he realises how his life has changed since that day. Rosie hums, stroking his cheeks before pulling his face towards hers, brushing her lips over his before kissing him deeply. "I can't wait for the rest of our lives together" she mumbles, giggling when George sighs happily. They look up when someone tugs on George's pants, chuckling when Luna looks at them. "I want to dance with daddy now" she says, looking at Rosie with hopeful eyes.

George twirls Luna around while she stands on his feet, her giggles fill the room while Rosie looks at them with Beau in her arms. The dance floor soon fills, couples dancing together while several kids dance through the room. Beau cuddles closer to Rosie's chest, and she smiles down at him, caressing his squishy face. He's an incredible mix of both George and her looks, and it's the cutest thing ever. "Hey wife" she looks up when she hears George's voice, and she smiles when he sits down next to her, putting his arm over her shoulder. "Hey husband" she answers, leaning against his shoulder while they look at each other with love and adoration.

TWO YEARS LATER

George smiles when he opens the curtains and sees the sunshine. He crawls back under the covers, pressing Rosie against him tighter before peppering kisses all over her face. "Wake up love, it's sunny out" he whispers, chuckling when she groans and tries to turn away from him. "It's our two-year wedding anniversary, don't be mean to me now" he chuckles, smiling when she sighs before patting his cheeks. "Happy anniversary husband, let me sleep some more" she mumbles, smiling when he lets out a laugh. "Okay, I'll go and make breakfast then. I love you" he says softly, stroking a few loose strands from her face before kissing her softly. He gets Luna and Beau from their beds, baking pancakes with them before setting the table in the garden.

George hums when Rosie walks into the garden after breakfast, dressed in a flowery summer dress. "Hey, you" she says, kissing him softly before laying down on the lounge sofa, resting her head on George's lap. He smiles down at her, running his fingers through her hair before resting his hand on her growing baby bump. She smiles at him, turning her head to look at Luna and Beau who are playing with cars on the mat on the grass. "I feel so blessed" she whispers, intertwining their fingers on her bump while she closes her eyes.
