ROSIE POV:
Rosie looks around her, now empty, apartment for the last time. After George asked her to move in 3 weeks ago, she started packing things calmly whenever she had a spare moment of time. Today is finally moving day, her big furniture is downstairs in a truck, while the small things are mostly at George's house already. Some things will be donated, like her bed and a lot of kitchen stuff, but she's still bringing quite a bunch of big furniture pieces with her to her "new home." The spare bedroom on the third floor, next to his home gym/sim room, will be her home office. Her favourite reading chair will be put into the living room, and her small clothing cabinet will be for Luna's room. She's the most excited about littering George's place with all her plants. There were a few home already, but the biggest amount will be moved today.
"Hey babe, I just did a quick run through the kitchen and bathroom, and nothing is left there. I think we have everything" she hums when George wraps his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her head. "I think so too yeah, I was just reminiscing about this place. I've lived here for five years; it's feels so weird to leave for good." George nods, stroking his hands over her arms before pressing her against his body. "Do you want to be alone for a minute?" he softly asks, but she shakes her head, turning around in his embrace to look into his blue eyes. "No, let's go home now" she says, kissing him softly before intertwining their fingers and walking towards the door.
Rosie looks around the living room, the windowsills are filled with the lush green from her plants, just like a few side tables. George is carrying the pieces of furniture for her office upstairs with Alex and Lando, who wanted to help them. Luna is playing on her mat, brabbling to the dolls that she has in her hands. Rosie moves some things around, placing her reading chair closer to the window so the sun shines on it, before placing the side table with her current reading books next to it. After being satisfied with the living room, she walks towards the kitchen, putting the utensils that George didn't have in logic spots. "Babe! Can you tell me where you want the pieces of furniture for the study?" she walks towards George, passing Alex and Lando who smile at her before they turn their attention to Luna.
"Yeah, the desk in front of the window so I can stare at the trees when my eyes are tired from the screen" she says with a chuckle, looking at George's biceps who flex while he carries and pushes everything around until it's all in the place she wants. 'I'm one lucky woman' she thinks to herself while looking at her boyfriend. "Shall I help you unpack everything?" she looks at George with raised eyebrows, who smiles at her. "I don't mind, the guys are playing with Lunes, and I want you to have everything ready for when you want to do something for work."
She nods then, kissing George before they go through all the boxes with maps, documents, and other stationary stuff. They slump down on the sofa an hour and a half later, satisfied with the result. "Thank you for helping me love" she mumbles against George's chest after he pulled her closer. "It's nothing, I want to help you" he says, kissing her hair before pulling her from the couch. "Let's put your clothes on your side of the closet before ordering dinner. I'm starving. Maybe we can do a movie night with the guys too?"
Rosie wakes up from the shuffling of George, and Luna's brabbling. "Let's wake up mommy, first day together in our home isn't it Lunes? That's exciting!" Rosie smiles, pressing her face in the pillow to try and hide it. The bed dips, and she feels Luna's hands on her face a few seconds later. The little girl giggles before doing an attempt to kiss Rosie on her face. It mostly ends with a lot of spit on her cheek, but that's alright. She opens her eyes, looking at the chubby face of Luna. She strokes her morning hair, "good morning my little bijou, did you come to wake me up? Do you want me to make breakfast? Or did you just want a snuggle?" Luna squeals, pressing her face against Rosie's collar bone while her tiny hands grip the night dress she's wearing. "Good morning sweetheart" she looks up at George who walks into the bedroom with a tray with breakfast on it. He's in a pair of sport shorts with his hair fluffy from sleeping. She smiles at him, shaking her head before she sits up, lifting Luna on her lap.
