ROSIE POV:

It's been three exciting months since the first race. George is leading the WC scores, but Lando, Charles, Max and Alex follow closely behind. It's the day of the Austrian race now, and Rosie can't find Luna's coat.

"Babe! Where did you put Luna's coat?" she calls out, looking in Luna's bag again before sighing. "Coat? Uh, yeah, I had that in my hand five minutes ago. Let me think." Rosie nods, putting the other things in the stroller before picking Luna up from the ground. "Are we excited? It's Austrian race time!" Luna claps her hands excitedly, brabbling while Rosie puts her in the stroller. "I got it!" exclaims George from the bedroom, emerging with a cap on his head and his sunglasses on the collar of his shirt. He smiles at Rosie, wrapping his arms around her before kissing her. "Now we have everything, right?" she nods, wrapping her arms tighter around him for a bit, enjoying his warmth. "Come babe, let's smash it today." She shakes her head at him with a laugh, "you know that you're the one driving the car, right? Not me? I can't smash it out there babe."

Luna pressed herself against Rosie's chest during the race, it was raining, and she was in an unhappy mood today. She probably felt the tension in the garage too, George had been complaining over the radio about the grip on the car, and Rosie had a bad gut feeling about this race. She stares intently at the screen, gasping when a big collusion happens, with a Mercedes car being smashed against the borders with a lot of speed. "It's George, isn't it?" someone asks. Rosie presses Luna tighter against her body, staring at the screen with tears in her eyes. George doesn't respond over the radio for the first few seconds, before a croaky "I'm okay, please get me out" is heard. Toto has made his way over to Rosie by now, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. He doesn't say anything, but the gesture is enough.

"Can I see him?" Rosie asks with Luna on her hip. Toto holds up his hand, calling someone. "Can we see George now? Okay, yes, yes, I understand. Thank you." He turns towards her, "we can go and see him, but he's really tired. Let's take everything you took here with you, and we'll go together." Rosie nods, putting Luna in the stroller before grabbing her bags and following Toto. She's listening to the medical adviser without listening to him, waiting until she can see George.

She has Luna in her arms again, she seems to be calmer when she holds her. "He's in the last room on the left, he can go back to the hotel tonight, but he can't drive." She nods at the man, walking towards the room after Toto emerges from it. "He's going to be okay, just bruised and sore. I will let someone drive his car to here, you can take him back to the hotel. Or do you want me to drive you all back?" Rosie shakes her head, thanking him with a smile before he nods, stroking Luna's hair and making his way out.

Rosie walks into the room anxiously, clasping her hand over her mouth when she sees George's tired body on the bed. She walks over to him quietly, sniffling while looking at his sleeping face. He opens his eyes slowly, blinking a few times in confusion until he realises it's Rosie with Luna. "Hey" he whispers, closing his eyes before opening them again, "don't cry love." Rosie let's out a sob, stroking his hair from his forehead, "how are you feeling? Can I get you anything? I can take you back to the hotel in a bit, but you can stay here too if you want. It might be a bit much with Luna?" she talks softly, and George looks at her with a small smile. "I want to go back; I want to be close to you. You don't have to get me anything, you're here now."

Rosie looks worriedly in the rear-view mirror while driving out of the parking lot. George is sitting in the back with Luna, wearing a neck pillow to try and prevent his head from moving around too much, since that hurts him. "Baby, just drive. It's okay, I just want to be in bed as soon as possible, okay? Don't worry too much" he says softly, putting his hand in Luna's fingers so she can busy herself with playing with them. "Yeah, okay. I'm sorry, I just don't want to hurt you even more" he hums, giving her a tired smile through the mirror.
