The Present and Past

Five Years later...

"Slow down Finn!"

"Awe c'mon Aza, you're gonna love it promise!"

The two laughed as Finn held Azalea's hand, guiding her to the location they were headed. "I gotta say, your deep voice is incredibly sexy." Azalea teased as she nearly tripped on a rock. Finn chuckled as they caught Azalea from her trip, "Hey weirdo, to be fair I barely started 'T' a year and a half ago."

So yeah, its been a while since we caught up with these two lover birds, but oh how they have been through one hell of a journey.

For starters, Finn has started something they would have never imagined being able to do.

"Mama, could I ask you something?"

Catra turned around as she set something away in the kitchen cabinets, "Sure kid, what's up?" 20 year old Finn sat down nervously as they played with their fingers, "Well, I have been kinda considering something..It feels like a lot to ask though so I kinda wanted to talk to you about it." Catra looked at Finn a bit, "Oh..Well, we can wait for your mom if it helps-"

"No, I mean..just you."

Catra looked a bit stunned, "..Can I ask why?"

Finn looked at Catra, "I just..I feel like these past couple of years we've been trying to connect a certain way and it just..I don't know." Finn gave a deep breath, " A lot has happened between us..I wanna get your ideal opinion first since you are deeply honest with me."

Catra listened as the blonde continued, "I know mom supports me in every decision I make so she'll say yes..And I know you do too but I know you have, well..strong opinions?"

"Heyyy I do not!" Catra pouted a bit, "Well..kinda."

Finn giggled a bit. Catra laughed a bit as she down next to her kid, "Finn," She sighed with a smile, "Whatever it is, you can tell me." Finn looked a bit nervous as their mom held their hands. "Well...I know it's way more than I've asked these past few years and I swear I'll use the money I saved up.." Finn took a deep breath, "I've been thinking of starting testosterone."

Catra blinked.

"Oh wow, really?" She asked in curiosity. Finn nodded nervously. "How come?" The latina asked. Finn sat up, "My voice doesn't seem right for me. It kinda just gives me this unreasonable ick." Catra giggled a bit as she patted her kid's hand. "Well, I let you know one thing..You're mom would support anything you do." Catra held Finn's hand again, " I just want to know how serious you are about this, once you do it there's certain side effects I want you to be aware of that." Finn smiled. "I know mama I know." Catra looked at Finn in deep seriousness, "You sure this is what you want?" Finn grinned in reassurance, "This is what I want mama, prometo."
