"is this part of the surprise?" whispered Ryujin
"trust me, I think I skipped an episode" whispered Yona back
"soooo... you know each other?" Asked Ryujin
"yes, since you two got closer actually" said Hyunjin
"oh, and how did that happen?" Asked Yona
"we hacked into each others' systems" said Chan with a smile, an oddly proud one
"wow, what a great first impression" said Ryujin with an awkward smile, fighting the urge to deadpan
"I ain't even surprised to be honest" said Yona
"I know right, umm and like... just that?"
"yeah, we decided to meet and get to know each other" said Taeil, many "yeah"s were heard from the boys after his statement
"Yeah- No, you're lying" said Yona as she turned to Ryujin
"Yup, definitely, let me guess, background search?"
Said Ryujin, All the boys nodded in response, and let's just say it wasn't that big a surprise to the two girls
"Knew it" mumbled Ryujin
"But we're friends now, like allies" said Shotaro
"I'm hella glad, oh guys, let's play the mafia game before cutting the cake" said Yona
"Ok let's do that" the boys agreed
"No!- changbin, put your gun back! It's a mafia game not an actual mafia- jeez let's just explain it quickly, I don't feel like hiding a body today" said Ryujin
"I know right, last time was a disaster" agreed Yona
"You two hid a corpse?!" Yelled Xiaojun
"Yeah, I was there, but he wasn't dead tho, they just knocked him down" said seungmin
"Shhh Seungmin! That was something you shouldn't say in front of- please let's just start the game already!" Whined Yona
Everyone in the party seemed to have a lot of fun, even if it was just the two families, they played a lot of games, they cracked jokes and shared childhood stories after letting Ryujin blow the candles and eat the cake.
Ryujin could finally drink, but she promised she wouldn't until Yona turns 18 too, the two girls were shooting draggers at Hendery, forcing him to suppress his giggles and keep their secret low-key.
"bro we ain't got enough space to take all of those gifts" said Minho referring to the mountain of gifts he was face-to-face with
"I know" said Chan, staring at the same view in awe
"Ryunjin's gonna have to spend the whole week just unwrapping these" added jeongin
"Jealous much?" Asked Ryujin
"Oh no don't worry about that, we'll manage" said Yona
"We? Who's we?" Asked Han
"Obviously me and my bestie over here" said Yona in a duh voice
"Do we start putting the gifts in ma'am?" Asked one the Lee family's men, who Yona dragged to help her for the party
"Yes, the boxes with red stickers are the ones with breakable and fragile things inside, be careful with those, the others just put them in the back" said Yona, urning a nod from the man, as he called others and immediately got to work
"Yona thank you so much for this, It was the best surprise ever, I love you so much" said Ryujin
"Don't thank me, you deserve more than the world could ever give honey" said Yona giving Ryujin a side hug
"I have to thank you too Yona, this party means a lot to us too, we're glad that my sister finally has a true friend" said Chan, Ryujin elbowing him on the spot
