Sorry for the late update. It's been a hectic week for me. Someone hit one of my dogs and she was sick and one of them died on Saturday. I love my dogs very much so it was a very emotional time for me.

Nuff love.

Tiffany's POV

The knocking at my bedroom caused me to lift my head out of the pillow. "Mia, I'm okay. Get some rest, you've been working all day." I didn't need Mia worrying over me, especially not after a long day dealing with bridezillas.

"It's not Mia. It's me, Bradley." the familiar voice said behind the door. My heart lurched in my chest. I frowned. He couldn't get in the apartment without Mia letting him in. Why would Mia let him in? Especially after what I just told her.

Feeling betrayed I shouted. "Go away Bradley and leave me alone." I placed my head back on the pillow and closed my eyes tightly.

This couldn't be happening.

Why was he here? Hadn't he done enough? or Was it him doing nothing that made me so angry?

I wouldn't open the door, of course; I was not that much of a fool

"Let me in, Tiffany."

I didn't answer. With trembling hands, I dragged the duvet over my head, pressing my fingers into my aching eyes as though to soothe away the pain which I knew very well would not be soothed.

He gave a sharp, peremptory rap on the door, being careful not to make too much noise. "I need to talk to you. Please let me in." he pleaded and I rolled my eyes. He wants to talk? Why did he stay silent while that old rag insulted me? Please, if he'd wanted to talk then he would have spoken at the restaurant. "Tiffany, I really need to talk to you. It's important."

I lifted my head and looked at the door. "I have nothing important to say to you. I never want to see you ever again. Now leave before I post on Twitter saying Bradley Mefford is stalking me!"

He remained silent for a second then he spoke, "You wouldn't do that."

Of course, I wouldn't. Not after all what happened but maybe that would let him leave me alone. After all, his family was obviously afraid of public sandals.

"Try me!" I shouted. "It's not like I haven't slandered your company's name on Twitter once before, what's stopping me now?"

Love

"Okay, fine. Slander my name on Twitter. I don't care. I'm not leaving until I speak to you." I frowned at his statement. He couldn't possibly mean that. His family's company meant everything to him. That's why he'd foolishly kidnapped me in the first place. There was no way he meant that.

"Well, I hope you like being poor because that's what's going to happen when I post about you on Twitter." I flashed back.

He sighed. "Tiffany, please."

I clutched my phone in my hand. "Just leave me alone, Bradley."

"Okay. I'll leave you alone. For now." There was a silence which somehow made me all the more nervous, then I heard the soft footsteps withdrawing. He had decided against trying to force an entry. That did not mean he had given up, of course. He'd said, 'for now'

I heard the front door open and shut.

I sighed in relief. There was no way I could face him after everything that happened this evening. I was too embarrassed, too ashamed. The experience was also an eye-opener. I groaned out loud and shut him out of my head.
