Kakyoin looked down wat the wreckage to find Dio looking up at him, an amused grin on his lips.
"Kakyoin, what're you doing?" Eleanor asked, she and Joseph ready to run.
"I've got it," Kakyoin said, taking off his shades. "I've figured out a way to reveal what Dio's Stand truly is."
"What?!" Joseph asked.
Using their Stands, they began to flee. Fire Power didn't grapple onto things like the Hermit Purple and Hierophant, instead it jumped from building to building. Eleanor could tell Dio was following close behind, sending Hamon through her body incase he got too close to her.
"Kakyoin, what's the plan?" Eleanor asked him as they both landed on a clock tower.
"Let me handle this," Kakyoin stated. "I can make Hierophant invisible to Dio's eye, for a moment."
"Let me use my Hamon to help. I can send a surge through Hierophant, Dio won't be able to touch him without getting seriously injured. Please, Kakyoin."
Kakyoin looked into Eleanor's eyes and saw nothing but complete confidence. How he wished she could see how sincere his own expression was. Her confidence was encouraging, so he nodded.
"Okay, let's do it."
Kakyoin and Eleanor stood on the slim point of a radio toward, arms around each others hips to keep from falling. Eleanor took a deep breath and sent her Hamon surging through Hierophant Green. They watched as Dio went to land on a building close by, only for him to step on one of Hierophant's tentacles, sending dozens of emeralds shooting at him. He blocked them and jumped away, hitting another tentacle with his back.
"Is this..." Dio muttered as he felt a surge of sun energy the moment he touched an invisible force. "Kakyoin's Hierophant!" Dio exclaimed as he kept blocking and running into more tentacles. "Hierophant's barrier!"
Dio stopped as he was about to hit the barrier again, looking to finally see the strands of Hierophant Green all around! He was clearly wounded, some emeralds managing to pierce him, and parts of his skin burning from what felt like Hamon.
"This is..." Dio muttered.
"That's right!" Kakyoin exclaimed, Dio finally taking notice of the teenagers. "Hierophant's barrier, which activates when touched, completely surrounds you for 20 meters in every direction!"
"And with my Hamon, I would say the barrier is more than efficient," Eleanor stated, lifting her hand to show she was grabbing on to Hierophant's hand.
"Now I can sense both your movements and The World's!"
Dio put his foot down and his lip quirked up. Joseph watched anxiously from a nearby roof. A billboard hit with Emerald Splash collapsed.
"Take this, Dio!" Kakyoin exclaimed. "20-meter radius Emerald Splash and Hamon!"
"You fool," Dio stated calmly. "You shall soon know that The World's true power is, indeed, the power to reign over this world!"
"Bring out your Stand, Dio!" Eleanor challenged.
"The World!"
In an instant the Stand was called forth, Eleanor summoning Fire Power in response. But before anything could happen, her whole world suddenly changed. Her vision morphed from pure black to greys and whites. She couldn't blink, couldn't gasp, as she saw Dio approaching her and Kakyoin.
Using his cape to push aside Hierophant's barrier, he was in front of them in a second. Eleanor couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was this the power of The World? Why could she suddenly see when its power was used? And why couldn't she see color?
