The Crusaders docked onto the mysterious island and approached the thickly jungled area.

"Hey now, does someone actually live here?" Polnareff asked. "It's such a tiny little island, and it looks deserted."

"Indeed," Kakyoin agreed. "Mr. Joestar, does he actually live here?"

"He lives here by himself," Joseph replied, Eleanor raising a brow. "That's what he told me back in India."

"Eh?" Eleanor asked. "What do you mean by 'he'?"

"What?" Polnareff shouted. "Indian curry?"

Eleanor sighed and rolled her eyes. Jotaro suddenly felt someone's presence, looking over into the bushes to see a pair of eyes staring at him.

"Hey. Someone's watching us from the grass over there," he spoke up, pointing to the spot.

"What?" Polnareff asked, everyone going on high alert.

Out of the grass the man started running away from the Crusaders.

"He's running away!" Polnareff cried, everyone's eyes widening when they got a look at the man from behind, or from Eleanor's perspective, heard him.

"From the back, he looks like..." Kakyoin breathed out.

"Yeah," Polnareff agreed. "That's definitely familiar!"

"Hey, wait!" Eleanor cried, immediately running off after the man and the other Crusaders not far behind.

"Hold it!" Polnareff shouted. "Please wait!"

The Crusaders ran into a small clearing where a gated house and some chickens were and the man, with his back still turned, started feeding the chickens and talking to them.

"That man... he can't be..." Kakyoin breathed out.

"It can't be..." Polnareff said as he went to step forward, but Joseph stopped him.

"Hold it!" He said. "I'll go talk to him. All of you, stay here." Joseph walked up to the fence of the man's home. "My name is Joseph Joestar. I'm traveling to egypt with these four-"

"Go away!" The man shouted, his back still turned. "I don't want to hear it!"

Eleanor's eyes widened.

"That voice..." she breathed out. "Those features. It can't be..."

"D-Don't talk to me! No one comes to see me with good news! It's only when something bad happens! I don't want to hear it!" The man turned to reveal he looked exactly like Avdol, only older. "Go away!"

Polnareff's eyes widened in shock and horror.

"Mr. Avdol!" Kakyoin exclaimed.

"Avdol..." Jotaro breathed out.

"Go away!" The man said again as he went into his home and slammed the door.

"I-It can't be!" Kakyoin, Eleanor, and Polnareff exclaimed.

"That's Avdol's... father," Joseph finally explained, the rest of the Crusader's eyes widening.

"His father?" Polnareff asked in disbelief.

"He left the world behind and lives alone on this island. I didn't tell any of you about this because if Dio were to find out we had stopped here, the peace Avdol's father enjoys here could be compromised. I didn't want to let that happen. But telling him about his son Avdol's death won't be easy to do..."
