The Crusaders had finally made it to a town, rushing Kakyoin and Avdol to the hospital. Thankfully for Avdol it was only a scratch, but for Kakyoin it didn't look too good.

"How are those two doing?" Polnareff asked as they walked down the street.

"Avdol's neck wound didn't damage anything vital, fortunately, so he'll probably be released tomorrow," Joseph stated. "But Kakyoin's injuries are serious. He might go blind."

Eleanor stiffened. She didn't wish what happened to her on anyone, especially Kakyoin.

"I'm worried."

"Sadly, Kakyoin might be out of action for the rest of this trip," Jotaro stated.

"Maybe, but let's try hoping for something positive," Eleanor said.

They stopped and looked around to see several shops and drink places.

"Hey, there are a lot of cafes around here," Polnareff observed. "Let's get a drink and relax."

"Great idea," Joseph agreed. "Which one?"

Polnareff flicked his cigarette, which pointed to a place called Maxim.

"My cigarette picked that one."

They all agreed and walked in, taking a seat while Iggy wandered around a bit.

"Welcome," a young waiter approached them. "What would you like?"

"He sounds so serious," Eleanor thought, raising a brow.

"Let's see..." Polnareff said. "I'd like some black tea."

"Same," Eleanor and Jotaro both agreed.

"All right," the waiter said. "Three black teas, then?"

"No, we'd better not," Joseph spoke up.

"Huh?" Polnareff asked.

"Listen. We're in Egypt, which is enemy territory and we don't know when they'll attack. We have to be more careful than we've been when it comes to poison. From now on, only drink from bottles or cans."

"What? Are you serious?"

"No, I agree with Joseph," Eleanor stated. "Dio's clever, I'm sure he's got a ton of people working for him at this point. We can't trust anyone but ourselves."

"Right," Joseph said. "Hey, forget the black tea. We're going to have cola instead."

"Cola?!" The waiter exclaimed, and Eleanor picked up that both his heart was racing and there was a kid behind the wall.

"Enemies?" She thought. "I'll wait till they attack, they might just be idiots."

"Yeah," Jotaro said. "Something wrong with that?"

"N-No. Okay. Cola, right? So four colas, then."

"Oh, and we'll take the caps off at the table ourselves," Joseph stated. "Also I want the third, fourth, fifth and sixth colas from the right."

"Hey, manager!" Another customer cried. "This cola isn't cold at all. Your shop serves warm cola? I'm not gonna pay, you jackass!"

"Hey, are the colas not cold?" Joseph asked the waiter.

"Th-The refrigerator is broken," the waiter explained.

"You're being too paranoid," Polnareff said to Joseph. "Even if that guy were our enemy, and if he were really trying to poison us, how would he know that we'd come in here? This city has all these cafe's and I happened to choose this one. If there were only one cafe, maybe, but there are plenty."
