Two days later, Jonathan and Eleanor were in George's room.
"Dad," Jonathan said. "Eleanor and I are going to London for a few days. While we're gone, only accept medicine from these doctors."
"You can't trust my treatment?" The butler asked, which would've made Eleanor laugh if it wasn't so serious.
"Please do as JoJo says," George said. "I don't know his reasons, but I trust my son." George coughed again.
"D-dad," Jonathan said quietly. Eleanor turned to Jonathan and she handed him his coat.
"We need to leave now," Eleanor said, and Jonathan nodded.
She already had her coat on, and she didn't wear a hat. Jonathan and Eleanor quickly walked out of the room and walked outside, where a carriage was waiting for them. Eleanor turned and listened, hoping to hear any sign of Dio, before walking in. She sighed as she sat across from Jonathan, and he gave her a sorry look. She could hear expressions, though it was hard to, and there usually had to be a lot of noise.
"I'm sorry Eleanor," Jonathan said, and Eleanor's head tilted in Jonathan's direction. "I know that you were really falling for Dio." Eleanor gave a small sigh and she shook her head.
"No," Eleanor said. "I did fall for Dio. I should've seen through him though. There were times when I thought he really did care when we were younger, and that's what had me start to trust him. I... I don't want to talk about it." Eleanor looked back over at the window, and Jonathan gave out a small sigh.
"He's getting worse," Jonathan thought to himself, referring to his dad. "He may need an antidote."
Dio watched the carriage leave through the window, and he thought for a moment.
"I have to finish JoJo before he finds out about the medicine," Dio said aloud. "And it has to be a perfect crime."
He took a knife and used it to open up a locked drawer in Jonathan's room. He opened it to reveal that's where the stone mask was.
"This mask reacted to my blood seven years ago," Dio said as he read a book that gave some info on the mask. "If those spikes enter JoJo's brain, he'll die instantly. And it will look like an accident, so no one will suspect. But... There is the matter of Eleanor being in the way. I'll have to knock her out somehow before she hears me. So then when she wakes up, it'll look like an accident. I'll be the one who tried to rescue JoJo, but couldn't. Then, I'll claim the Joestar inheritance and I'll have Eleanor as my wife. JoJo, your curiosity, along with Eleanor's, will be the death of you!"
In Londen, Two Days Later
Eleanor and Jonathan's carriage pulled up under a bridge, and Jonathan and Eleanor quickly got out.
"The university couldn't identify the medicine," Jonathan thought to himself. "Chances are, it's Asian medicine. That means..."
"Young man, miss," the carriage driver said. "That's Orge Street, the most dangerous part of London."
"We know," Jonathan said.
"But we have no choice but to go," Eleanor said.
"You can leave if you want."
Jonathan and Eleanor walked away from the carriage.
"Dio lived in London," Jonathan stated. "Asian medicine can only be found here." Eleanor nodded.
"We'll find it," Eleanor assured. "The evidence, and the antidote." Jonathan nodded.
"Yes. Do you hear anything strange?" Eleanor shook her head.
