-His mother and both of kala's aunties who are korean-thai now based in thailand ( Hannah and Sarah ) have been friends since they were in Grade school although they have a bit of age difference between them . Coincidentally enough, her aunt hannah ( who she would call "maeh hannah" in thai ) got married to Kimmon's uncle who's the brother of his mother. Kala's aunties was the one who introduced her family to the Khemmonta even before she was born and at that time her parents only know basics in thai so her aunties would be the one to act as their translator but even though there's language barrier, that did not stop them from building a bond with each other. Khemmonta Family is also one family that Kala grew up with and are very close with in thailand-in fact, Kimmon and his parents have taken kala in as a daughter/sister.
