Narrator's POV ::
The confetti still floated lazily in the air, like the sky itself hadn't gotten the memo that the show was over.
Laughter, cheers, and soft sobs echoed across the I-LAND stage, blending into a chorus of relief and celebration. While the debuting trainees were surrounded by hugs and congratulations, Kala stood slightly offstage, eyes reflecting the soft gold lights as Bang PD and the producers approached her.
She bowed, humble but grounded. Professional, yet glowing with something more.
"Thank you so much, Kala," Bang PD said sincerely. "For accepting this offer. For not just mentoring these boys but becoming their family. Their sister. Their comfort."
She smiled gently, bowing again. "It's been my absolute pleasure. This journey... it was never supposed to be easy. But I'm grateful I was here for it. Through the joy, the uncertainty, the regret—I saw their courage. If you ever ask me to do it again, I'll say yes every time. Because helping people chase their dreams is the kind of work that matters."
Her voice didn't waver. It never did when she was speaking from her heart.
