【Unit Test day】
❜ ─ NARRATOR'S POV ─ ❛
The producer's room was a bubble of calm tension. Screens flickered, papers shuffled, coffee cups steamed. Beyond the glass wall, the stage was quiet—eerily so.
Rain leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, a knowing gleam in his eye. "It's the day of the battle," he said, half to himself, half to the room. "Elimination's on the line. Six will go home. It's not just a test. It's war."
He turned to Sungdeuk beside him. "I met with the I-Landers for their midpoint evaluation. Some real potential there, don't you think?"
Sungdeuk nodded slowly. "Heeseung and Geonu... they surprised me. They've grown. Especially vocally."
Rain smiled, then glanced across the room. "Zico, Kala—what about Ground?"
Zico scratched the back of his neck, watching the monitors. "They did okay. I was gonna say that before you started showering the others with praise. Now I have to dial mine down or I'll sound like a copycat."
