There had been a paper with contact information concerning my fathers remains.

We decided to burry him next to my mother, she would want that.

As they lowered him into the ground I wept, Shin held me tightly against his chest.

He's been my rock through out my pregnancy and everything else.

After the funeral Shin stayed close to me.

"Thank you Shin-chan, I needed a shoulder to cry on."

Shin-Chan smiles softly. "Anytime, you are finally calling me Shin-Chan again."

I quit calling him that when we were younger although I'm not sure why, he's more like my brother than my cousin.

"Your like my brother.. man, I'm ready for some food."

"Let's go out to eat." Uncle says from the front seat.

"That's not a bad idea, Nana what are you hungry for?"

Nana smiles "Whatever you want I'm hungry for."

I look to Shin-Chan "BBQ?" I ask him.

"Sounds good to me."

Nana hmms "we haven't had BBQ in a while, J's BBQ restaurant has ribs with meat that fall off the bone they are oh so tender."

Nana can eat BBQ but usually it's a BBQ sandwich she order from J's although there's no doubt she can eat ribs, she's head strong.

"So are we ordering to go or going in to eat." My Uncle looks towards nana then Shin-Chan and I.

"To go." We all say.

"Alright, let me guess I'm paying?" Uncle sighs

"Oh how nice of you to volunteer." Nana smiles to her son then sends Shin-Chan and i a wink.

"Thank you Uncle" Shin-Chan and I say at the same time.

"Yes, thank you my darling son." Nana pats his cheek.

"Anytime, I don't mean that literally by the way."
