The next day, you and Connor already had your date in order.

Dressed up in nice, casual attier you knocked on Connor's front door.

"Hey beautiful," Connor said wrapping his arms around your waist and placing his chin on your shoulder.

You smiled. "You look great,"

"thanks," he smiled, you melted inside. He grabbed your hand and you started walking down the steps from his house.

"I'm not really hungry, let's skip to our walk around the park." He said. "I'm not really hungry either, so we can do that." You weren't hungry because you were being eaten alive with guilt. Nico and you were at your house right after you were with Connor, he noticed something was wrong but didn't say anything. You were sweating and so nervous that you were so close to blurting out that you and Connor were dating.

Despite the horrible situation you were in, you tried to enjoy the afternoon and be optimistic with Connor.

You continued to walk in silence, you reached a park and Connor saw dandelions up ahead. He walked a little up ahead. He picked up some and handed them to you with a big smile.

"Thank you, Connor," you smiled.

"Of course," he grinned. He pulled you into a kiss that lasted much longer than the others and you leaned in to enjoy it. It sent warmth through your body, making the tips of your fingers tingle as though electricty pulsed through your veins.

Over to your left, you heard a shocked voice say, "(Y/N)?"

You and Connor broke the kiss and to your astonishment, there standing on the alternate path, was Nico.

But he wasn't alone.

Beside him, holding hands, was Reyna.

"What are you doing?" Nico asked.

"I could ask you the same thing," you replied a little irritated.

"This is akward," Reyna said.

"What's going on here?" Connor asked.

All you could do was stand there, looking into Nico's eyes wondering how in the actual hell you got into this situation.

Wanting to go back to the restuarant where Will was sitting.

You should have stayed.

You should have forced smiles and laughter.

You should have kept Nico at a safe distance.

You should have kept him as your stupid crush.
