40|You're beautiful..

You pulled away from him looking into his eyes when suddenly his skin started to turn blue

Your face turned to confusion

"Lokes why are you turning blue?"

You said concerned

His face fell immediately dropping you on the ground and walking away quickly

You placed your hand on your head trying to soothe the pain from the impact on the cement

You groaned holding your head as you watched him walk away

"What was that for?!"

You yelled at him as you got up off the ground

He kept his back to you as you yelled at him

"Why did you do that?!"

You said walking up to him

He wouldn't look at you

You walked up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder

You pulled his shoulder to turn him to face you when a blast of green light emitted from the ground and you fell backwards

He didn't want you to get hurt so he used his magic to keep you steady

There was a shield around him

He was keeping you from him

This was different

You couldn't take your eyes off of him

"Look at me.."

You said through the shield

You knew he could hear you clearly

Still he wouldn't look at you

Anger, sadness, and worry all mixed together making you unstable

"LOOK AT ME"

You screamed through the shield as his magic shattered with pink mist overtaking it completely

You walked up to him slowly placing your hand on his shoulder once more

"Lok-"

You said before he turned around in anger grabbing your wrist and holding it in the air dragging you closer to him and staring into your eyes

He didn't look like himself

His eyes they were...Beautiful

They were a beautiful ruby red

"IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?!"

He yelled keeping his eyes locked on yours

Suddenly your wrist started to burn

It was so painful

But you kept eye contact

"WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO LOOK AT SOMETHING SO HIDEOUS?!"

He said piercing your soul

Suddenly a worse pain shot through your wrist

You immediately broke eye contact and saw your wrist turning purple

He followed your eyes and looked at your wrist as well

Immediately letting it go he started to back away

You held your wrist as he backed away

"Loki.."

You said looking at him and moving closer

"I-I'm a monster I-I'm sorry"

He said vanishing into nothing

"WAIT"

You said reaching for him as he disappeared

Another pain shot through your wrist making you wince

You tried to teleport but you didn't have the energy so you burst through the door that led to the roof and ran down the stairs trying to get to the medical wing

You finally reached the floor as you stumbled down the stairs

The door was locked from the inside

Your power was too weak from lack of sleep so you started trying to force it open with your shoulder

I'm the process of trying to beat Tony's system you ended up dislocating your shoulder the pain in your wrist never went away

You figured it was frostbite by the way it looked

It kept eating at your arm and climbing to your shoulder

I'm gonna die...

Suddenly the pain overtook you and you blacked out

A few minutes later you came to

You were still in the stairwell alone

You looked down at your arm seeing it creeping up farther

Standing up holding your arm you tried the door again

Still locked...

With blurry vision you tried walking back up the stairs to find Loki

Help me..please...

You started to fall back but before you could hit the floor someone caught you

You looked up seeing his Ruby eyes again

His icy blue skin was gorgeous

He made sure he didn't touch your bare skin while he held you

Teleporting to the med bay he laid you on a bed

He paced for a few moments as he started to freak out

You watched him as he paced

"I love you.."

You said slowly closing your eyes

He looked over at you

Walking up to you the blue faded from his face

You reached your hand up and placed it on his cheek

"You're beautiful.."

You said before falling asleep

He watched as you fell asleep in shock

He backed up and looked at you

He couldn't believe someone like you would think of his Jotun form as beautiful

Because you were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen

He wanted you to know that but he didn't want to let his guard down.

As you slept he paced the room trying to think of a way to help when it clicked

He walked over and ripped your shirt sleeve so he could see how far the frostbite had gotten

It just kept getting worse

He looked at you and then to his hands shaking he breathed in and out placing his hands a few inches from your body

He closed his eyes as his magic flowed from his hands

You slowly opened your eyes to a bright light

Taking in your surroundings you looked around

Seeing Loki in the chair beside you asleep

You looked over to your arm and saw it was fully healed

Looking back over at Loki you knew it was him

He must be asleep from the magic he used draining his energy

You sat up slowly

Your arm was soar but it felt better than it did

You slowly got off the bed and walked to the chair

You sat down and curled up in his lap and listened to his heart falling asleep in the process....
