The Assassin's Conquer (Book Two)

Chapter Twenty Four-Alexandria

We followed Leo into the woods, since they were no longer burning. I was surprised that Leo left Rowen to take care of Niamh. He and Ryia, they seemed overprotective of her, almost like parents. We followed Leo for almost two hours. Then, we finally reached the fae camp. Many fae people roamed around, and they were shocked to see us enter their camp.

"We need to get to Azura" said Aaron. "That won't be too hard. I can get to her easily, since she's my mother" said Leo. I nodded. We followed Leo into the fae palace. Azura was sitting on her throne. She looked exactly the same as she did last year, with her long blue hair and fae clothing. "Ah, Leo! I'm so happy to see you" she said, although she didn't seem very happy.

"Mother, Simon's army is going to attack the camp! You have to prepare the army!" Leo said. "What?!" Azura demanded. We told her what had happened, and she prepared the fae army for battle. "I want to fight with the fae army" I said. "Me too" said Terrin. "I will as well" said Aaron. Leo decided to fight with us as well.

We marched with the fae army, preparing for attack. We stood outside the camp for a long time before we saw Simons army. They slowly approached us. Then, they charged. We charged towards them.

We fought with them for a long time. I felt like we were winning at first. Simon's army was drastically getting smaller, for the fae army was much stronger than them. I fought and clashed my sword at the soldiers, killing them off one by one. Aaron stayed by my side the entire time.

Then suddenly, I felt a blade slide through my arm, leaving a huge, bloody cut. I winced in pain. Then, I heard an evil laugh. Simon appeared next to me. "Such a pity that I have to kill you now, Alexandria" he said. He charged at me, but I put up a good fight. After a few minutes, I created a bloody gash on his left cheek.

Simon winced in pain, then smiled evilly. "Well, at least you put up a better fight than your lovely sister" he said. I didn't know what I was talking about, but I didn't care. Simon warped away. I didn't see him on the battlefield again.
