We were successful in the battle. When it was over, all the fae cheered in their glory. I cheered with them. A few hours later, I saw something unexpected. Ryia. She was hugging the little girl, Niamh. I was too scared to talk to her. I didn't want to see her. So I ran away before she could see me. I ran far into the woods. I had to be alone for a little bit.

I sat on a tree stump and closed my eyes. I couldn't believe that Ryia was there. I had no idea where she had been, and now she was suddenly at the fae camp. "Are you alright?" Said a voice. I looked up to see Aaron standing over me. Had he followed me? He must have. "Yeah, I'm ok" I said. Suddenly, Terrin appeared. He looked out of breath, like he had been running.

"Damn, you run fast!" He said. I smiled. "What's wrong? Why did you run away?" Asked Aaron. "Well.....I got a little bit scared. I.....I saw Ryia. I didn't want her to see me, so I ran" I said. "You saw Ryia?" Terrin asked. I nodded. He sighed and said, "let's get out of here. I don't want to run into her again".

"Terrin......" I said. "Oh, come on Alex! You know what she did to us, what she did to you! You still have burn marks on your back, Alex! Their going to become scars! Come on, we already saved the fae camp. Let's go home" Terrin said. He had never called the castle home. I was surprised.

"Terrin is right. Let's go, Alexandria" said Aaron. I stared at them for a minute before agreeing to leave with them.

I stood alone on my balcony, slightly regretting my actions. Maybe I could have talked to Ryia. Maybe for some reason, she would listen to me. "Hello Alexandria. A lovely evening, isn't it?" Said a voice. I didn't turn around or gasp. I simply responded, "what do you want, Simon?" Simon laughed. "Was I too predictable? Should I have come at a different time? I should have come when you were with that boy, what's his name? Aaron?" He asked.

"Let's just get this over with. Tell me what your doing here" I said. Simon laughed and walked closer to me. "Well, it seems that the lovely Ryia has escaped my palace again. Do you happen to know where she is?" Simon asked. Ryia was captured? I didn't want to think about it. I simply said, "I haven't seen her in a while. I don't know". Simon laughed.

He walked closer. I turned around and faced him. "I told you my answer. You can go now" I said. Simon laughed. He put his fingers on the bottom of my chin, lifting my face. I barely flinched. I couldn't show him weakness. "If I take you with me, it would drag Ryia to my palace" he said. I lightly gasped.

Simon laughed and said, "well, it's worth a shot." He grabbed me. I screamed as he warped away. As we faded into shadows, I saw Aaron and Terrin run onto my balcony. But it was too late. Simon had already taken me.
