There was nothing I could do but run and try to bide myself some time. My mind was spinning and nausea hit me hard if I couldn't find a way to stop the bleeding the battle would end far too swiftly and with unsatisfactory results. Trying once more I was able to pull the water from the ground and use it to heal my more major cuts to the point that they were merely white scars.

"Don't run face me I'd like to see just how powerful your fae magic is. How disapointing it would be if you weren't able to stand against me for more than a few minutes" Simon cawed happily. I ran at him with all my speed and might. Niamh, I have to make it for her she didn't have anybody else and she needed me. Power rushed through me. I had to get back for her. I couldn't let her face the world alone.

Simon lunged toward me, his sword swinging with a dark grace. Bring my sword up to oppose his blade I used the earth to grab at his feet. I let the dark earth trail up and over his legs to the point were it reached his neck he managed to keep me away from him for quite some time before my fire burnt up like a wall managing to cast away his shadows. With a quick and well place move I had my sword pressed against his neck. I need only to extend my arm and the blade would go staight through his neck.

"Any last words?" I asked smiling an animalistic smile that easily could be mistaken as a snarl. He smiled a smile that was so victorious my own confidence stuttered. Out of nowhere a hand wrapped around my sword arm and swung me back. I fell on my back and heard a crack from the impact. A scream escaped my lips as Simon appeared through the shadow right in front of me.

"Shhh, you shouldn't be so loud someone might think a murder is going on out here" Simon said smiling ironicaly. "It's too bad really that you won't be able to help that fae camp of yours. You see now as we speeak I have the army that was to oppose Talahan to destroy that camp. As of earlier today I made a treaty with Talahan it was all just to divert everyone's attention and look how well it worked. They won't even know that the war between me and Talahan has ended before my army strikes".

Letting out a cry of agony I did the one thing I could think to do. Using all the magic I had left to send a fae message to Leo through the air, telling him of the fight that was coming. It was the least I could do. it was all I could do. Black spots started to fill my vision and all I could hear was Simon's cruel laughter filling my ears. Darkness had soon fully consumed me and dreams never came.

I woke in a cobble stone jail iron cuffs around my ankles chained me to floor. I swallowed hard It was too much like my dreams every detail. Would Simon come in here and shove the facts of all my freinds and loved ones now hated me with a passion? Would he come and torture me until I fell to my knees in hoplessness and depperesion? Closing my eyes I hoped I would never have to open them again.

All too soon I heard foot steps echoing down the hall. "Well hello Ryia won't you open your darling eyes for me?" Simon asked as his footsteps sounded nearer. "I don't have much time to talk with you since soon I will be holding a meeting with some of my generals. Though I'm sure you don't want to hear about how we are planning the destuction of your beloved training camp" Simon said I could hear the smile in his voice.

"Since you won't open your beautifull blue eyes which are outlined with fire I suppose I should leave but how about I leave you with something to think about. Do you think that if your old friends could see you now they would try to save you like before or would they say good riddance? I, personaly, think they would leave you to rot. That's how it sounded the last time I spoke to them anyways" with that Simon left.

Without even opening my eyes I curled up on the floor and allowed the tears to come. I had failed them, I had failed Leo and Niamh just like everyone else and now all I could do was lay down and rot. Look at just how useless I've become.
